Meet The Ref - Southend United

Saturday's match referee is Chris Foy from Merseyside, he is a Premiership ref and was promoted to the Football League in 1996 and became a Premiership referee in 2001. He has refereed 20 Premier League games this season; he averages 2.40 Yellows per game and has also sent off 10 players this season!

This is his first visit to the White Rock, his last Swans match that he officiated in was back in the 01/02 season against Bristol Rovers at the Vetch - he sent off two of the opposing players that day.
