Swansea fans have voted Wilfried Bony as the club's greatest striker after he left the club this week to join Premier League champions Manchester City.

Bony this week completed his £25m+ move from South Wales to the blue half of Manchester making him Africa's most expensive footballer into the process.

After just 18 months at the Liberty Stadium where he became a firm favourite of the supporters and also placed himself as the Premier League's leading goalscorer in 2014.

And it was those kind of goalscoring exploits that gave Swansea fans the belief to vote him in as the club's greatest ever striker in the poll we have run on Planet Swans this week.

More than 60% of fans said that Bony would take that title although it provoked a good debate on the forum (http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/135544/) in terms of who else could be considered for that title.

Other names in the frame included Bob Latchford, Lee Trundle and Ivor Allchurch all of whom excelled in a Swansea shirt and are well deserving themselves of the title.
