Fabianski - Let's Put Them Under Pressure
Saturday, 29th Aug 2015 17:18 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Lukasz Fabianski believes that Manchester United are a better side than the one that the Swans did the league double over last season but still believes that it is possible for the Swans to get the win if they put their opponents under pressure.

A win tomorrow for the Swans will see them head into the first international break of the season in the Premier League's Top 4 and whilst nobody is pretending that it would be easy there is a wide group of people who believe that the Swans can win this game.

That includes some of the media pundits and based on the Swans performances so far this season it is easy to understand why people think we have a real chance of securing what would be a third successive league victory over our visitors.

Fabianski played in both the Swans wins in the league over United last season and will be looking for the same results again although it is fair to say that he didn't have the same level of work to do in those games as he did against Arsenal at the Emirates for example.

Louis Van Gaal has stated that he hopes tomorrow will give a good gauge of how much his team has improved but Fabianski already knows the answer to that “They look a better team this season. They have been very solid defensively — they haven’t conceded a goal in three league games so far,” he said.

“We must compete with them, put them under pressure and stick to our plan.

“We want to be in control of the game, and hopefully this will be another memorable day for the fans.”
