Fed - The Focus Is On Watford
Wednesday, 9th Sep 2015 07:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Last weekend Federico Fernandez enjoyed his break from the Premier League with a trip to Monza and the Italian Grand Prix where he watched Britain's Lewis Hamilton move closer to a third World title.

But he is now back in South Wales and ready to help the Swans build on their excellent start to the season at Watford this weekend.

The Swans went into the international break in 4th place in the Premier League thanks to two wins and two draws and of course it was on a real high thanks to the brilliant win over Manchester United at the Liberty a little over a week ago.

As the Swans international stars all arrive back in Swansea after representing their countries the focus all turns to the game at Watford who are yet to win since returning to the Premier League last season.

Fernandez will of course link back up with Ashley Williams who has been captaining Wales to the bring of Euro 2016 qualification as well as the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Eder, Ki and Jonjo Shelvey.

“All the focus is on Watford. They have started well and they have only been beaten once by Manchester City, who have been excellent so far.

“It has been a good start for us too, but now we face another difficult game.

“Our performances and results so far have given us confidence but we need to continue working hard to get the outcome we want on Saturday.

"We are all focussing on doing well for Swansea and preparing mentally, tactically and physically for Watford.”
