Fab Eyes Up First Away Win

Lukasz Fabianski will take his place against Southampton this afternoon eyeing up a first away win of the season for the Swans at the fourth attempt, five if you count the midweek defeat at Hull.

We have drawn two and lost one of our three away league games to date this season and Fabianski and his team mates will want to improve on that record especially on the back of three games without a win and not a goal in the process.

Last week's 0-0 draw at home to Everton was the second clean sheet for the big Pole this season in the league and he will be looking to repeat the heroics of him and his defence back in February when we upset the Saints with a 1-0 win.

Another result like that today will go down extremely well and set the Swans up nicely for what looks like a tough final test of this mini window against Spurs next weekend.

"It will be a tough away game against a really tough team," Fabianski told the club's official website. "But we have shown already this season and in the one before, that we can compete against anyone and it doesn't matter if it's away from home.

"We are just a team who are tough to play against and I think we are well respected. Teams know it is hard to play against us, we play good football and we get results as well."
