Swans Targeting Lopez Loan?

ESPN are reporting that the Swans are looking at a possible loan deal for Benfica's Lisandro Lopez as they look to tighten up a defence that has conceded more than 50 times in the Premier League this season.
We have long since accepted that we need central defensive cover and that we failed to cover adequately the departure of Ashley Williams last summer.
Since the arrival of Paul Clement, Alfie Mawson and Federico Fernandez have taken over as the first pairing from the options that he has available but it has also been widely suggested that he would like to bring in one more player to cover that position.
And it appears - if the reports are right - that Lopez is to be that man.
ESPN report that the player could be tempted by first team football have made just five starts in the Portuguese league this season and that the Swans are hoping to complete a deal before the end of the transfer window on Tuesday.
Whatever happens on this particular move it does appear that for once there will be late action at the Liberty on the final day of the window.
