Let’s get this party started ! Swans outclass lowly Bluebirds
Sunday, 17th Mar 2024 08:00 by Liam Walters

First of all let’s put the news from yesterday afternoon in to context, and context is what it needs. We started off yesterday with our reports on the rivalry that is the South Wales Derby. The economics and financial side of the city of Swansea that has been ignored for decades by the Welsh assembly.

Then we switched to the FAW (football association of Wales) who have stamped their bias all over the Welsh game for years. The local media that couldn’t even be bothered to report on a Swansea City game last weekend was shockingly amateurish. Then the continued belief that a man called Erol Bulit could produce miracles for such a broken club, we pointed folk in the right direction yesterday on the Turks wizardry this season.

That’s below.

Erol not quite the bulut

As expected the dramas of the day unfolded well before kick off, some of the fans in certain pubs were like long lost faces of old. Anyway here’s the game.

And Luke Williams reaction after the game.

Liam Cullen (below) who had numerous chances to score confirmed of his determination to put one over on Cardiff after the game. “Since the away game we have been wanting to right the wrong. That’s what it has been about, as soon as we were back in the dressing room after the game up there, we said that when they came to our place we have to put it right. It was not just for ourselves, but for the staff at the club who are lifelong fans, and for the 20,000-plus who were here, and those who were watching but couldn’t be here.We knew we had to be right on it from the start and I thought, to a man, we were. We were not us in the away game so to win in the way we did means a lot” With five shots at goal yesterday, and a wayward header, Liam took to this game right from the start. He had his just rewards and is now making scoring against Cardiff a regular thing.

Much more later.

Most of Cullen's headers are wayward due to a lack of commitment, You cannot be Premier class number 9 with a weakness in his game like this. I saw it in his debut v Crystal Palace. He may not have it in him.
