Luton Town v Swansea City : Team News
Saturday, 4th Mar 2023 12:12 by Swansea Independent

The return of Jamie Paterson to the squad hasn’t been that well met in certain quarters as the Swans kick off another Sky Bet Championship away game this afternoon (3pm) against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. Both sides have one win in five matches leading up to todays game.

The odds are all in favour of Luton Town today, they sit sixth in the championship and the Swans are in fifteenth. Russell Martin knows he has to do something to stem the flow of bad results. Last Mondays home draw against Rotherham was met with booing from the Swansea support, something he hasn’t had before. In the face of all that over 1,000 Jacks will be at the game in a sold out arena in Bedfordshire.

Team news is in.

I recall Hull city two or three season back being in the same place a Swansea and getting relegated with about 10-12 consecutive defeats under Grant McCann. Hull city had some cash issues and sold Lewis Potter and Jarod Bowen and did not replace them. Martin lost a player he was not picking anyway.
