Just remember Barnsley got the final play off spot with 74 points last season and went on to win the play offs. Rochdale could still potentially get 78 points. Going into the play offs with huge amounts of confidence and momentum. Yes I know I am clutching at straws

I said we could afford to lose a game earlier, providing we win six

What we can't afford to do is let indiscipline and poor defensive organisation (starting with selection) knock the stuffing out of us

The next two home games basically have to be emphatic victories, not just to rebuild confidence but to retrieve the kind of momentum that would have fans putting down ST deposits in droves, not staying away in droves

Thing is we're now backed into a corner at the back with Keane suspended. It's McGahey and one other. Right now I'd be tempted to play Calvin or Lund there, McNulty almost needs a rest for his own good.

We're in exactly the same position as we was last year,
57 points 7 games to go in April with an easier run in. Anyone who says the season is over is just being silly.

Saturday is huge - forget about tonight - it's over with and was never the critical game in these set of 3. We need to beat Northampton at home - very doable. Millwall play Scunthorpe, Oxford don't play due to being at Wembley Sunday and Southend play Oldham who have become very hard to beat under Sheridan. Then win our game in hand v Port Vale and it's suddenly very interesting again.

Vincenti would make a decent centre half I reckon..

Yes, but we are still due our traditional end of season slump .

We have won 2 of our last 14. Perhaps we are in that slump already in terms of points if not play

KH has delivered a great season overall with a likely top 10 position, some great runs and currently a lot of goals. However he has got it horribly wrong in defense which will be the difference between top 10 and top 6 if we don't get there

Not quite over, but a lot more difficult than it could have been
