Yeah we need last year’s QPR Ronnie not this season’s Southampton Ronnie but he’s young and got a massive scope for development with us: should be a great signing.

Good news and an excellent prospect but we’ve had to pay strong money for him as Southampton were never going to let him go for any less than they paid for him and they have will probably have to pay Peterborough a percentage as well.

Blimey.
Perhaps wait to form a strong opinion from more than just snippets you’ve seen?

RIP Alan Barnes
at 11:34 8 Jan 2026

Ah no what sad news. Alan spent a season or so sat in front of us in Lower Loft: we really started chatting after my Dad passed away and I was struggling with the emotions of him not being sat beside me watching QPR struggle on the pitch. Just talking to Alan and sharing his extensive QPR knowledge before during and after the game helped me a lot through those times. I missed him when he wasn’t there and it was great to see him return to games in the Paddock.
What an amazing supporter of QPR he has been: I truly hope QPR pay a fulsome tribute to him at the next home game. RIP Alan.

Love seeing them struggle: a million miles away from their first Jose era of dominance.
Can’t see Rosenior being able to get a tune out of their pampered underperforming overrated players.

Would suggest it’s likely we’ve lined up a permanent transfer out? Read somewhere about not being allowed to play for more than two clubs in one season but I assume that’s just league games as he only played in the Plymouth cup debacle for us.

I was also happy enough yesterday on the way home and think there has been too much negativity about the performance. We can probably count on one hand how many games we have won by at least three goals in the last two or three seasons in well over one hundred games so maybe we should appreciate the size of the victory even if we weren’t great for most of the game as QPR and big wins rarely go together.

That’s shocking treatment of the away fans after a really long journey. I’m sure the ice around the dugouts must’ve been there all day?

Maybe you don’t but being glad one of our players is injured is unpleasant.

Comfortable in the end and great to see Kolli take his chances: he’s got a real opportunity of a good run in the team now.
Thank goodness Stéphan made the right decision not to clog up the midfield just to contain Bannan: Wednesday (and Bannan) were abject today and think we would’ve struggled to score many.

Should have come on at HT instead of Dembele.
We’re hanging on now FFS.

A stroll in the winter sun so far as Wednesday look bereft of any ideas. However we desperately need a second goal as we know what’ll happen otherwise. Great chance for Kolli to step up and claim a starting place assuming Burrell will be out for a few games: pretty anonymous so far.

Yeah let’s make a supporter our manager 🙄
Let’s wait to see how the game goes before slagging Stéphan off too much eh?

Team looks fine to me as long as they are on the front foot from the first minute. Nobody needs to see two bang average teams not laying a glove on each other for the first half. 2-1 Rangers, Madsen penalty and Kone.

The other top players need to raise their games or Littler is going to win pretty much everything for the next few decades. The final was a bit dull as it was so one sided.

January transfer rumours

He was decent enough last season but doesn’t look match fit this season when he’s been on the pitch. Has he started with Burrell at all as starting with Kone was never going to work for either of them. If he goes we need a decent replacement to back up Kone as Kolli is more of a Burrell stand in.

Was pleased he came on but he did no better than Burrell and Kone.

Norwich Reflection

Kone and Burrell were hopeless today: hardly won anything and were half hearted when challenging for the ball. In fact all our ‘attacking’ players had a mare: no guile or creativity at all and lost the ball all the time. Lack of urgency throughout the whole team from the first minute.

Every player was dreadful today including the subs. A gutless flat performance: Norwich clearly wanted it more.

I think Morrison was developing well and doing fine: can’t remember too many people complaining about him too much. Has been unlucky to lose his place IMO and has got plenty of time on his side.
Good to see him recalled tonight.
