I don't think you can blame people for having a moan or asking questions given the state of the pitch, what happened on Sunday, and what's been said at the fans forums.
Every bit as irritating as the "woe is me, the sky is falling" stuff online is the "everything's brilliant, the leader is good, the leader is great". |

Agree with everything said about Man City. Totally. Scum.
But... If we want fan ownership models in this country then they've got to be better run than getting the begging bowl out.
This tie has already saved Exeter from going bust, which looked likely before Christmas, because they've overstretched on a League One squad they can't afford with their income.
This is a club that has not been short of good cup ties (Liverpool, Man Utd and now Man City) nor player sales (Ollie Watkins £7m plus sell ons later, Millenic Alli £1.5m, Sam Nombe £1m, Archie Collins £1m, Joel Randall £1m, Storey and Stockley to PNE for a joint £1.5m, Ethan Ampadu £2m) . |

The Saito/Yang and further back Park and Yun thing will have something to do with it.
At one point when we were in the Prem and had Park playing for us LFW did 1.4m page impressions a day (a good ten times average) and well in excess of 80% of them were South Korean. Should have done merchandise. |

Yeh I would cut out box office a lot of slack atm.
It’s a small, young team anyway.
That West Ham draw has dumped 9,000 tickets on them. That’s as many season tickets as we’ll sell. They’ve been given 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year to sort that out, and distribute tickets using a tech none of us have used before, and they haven’t dealt with previously.
Just look at the thread on here - can you imagine the amount of correspondence they’re dealing with atm?
I think they’ve done a great job personally. |
