Looked really good today going forward although WBA looked very slow and shaky at the back. Some really good performances today, Nardi has come in for some deserved stick of late but no complaints about his performance today including a fine double save in the second half. I did think hear we go when they equalised but FairPlay to Kone for showing some starting setting up Burrell second. MOM today was Madsen… tackling winning headers and confident on the ball. 5 wins from safety now roll on Birmingham

| West Brom Reflection on 14:04 - Dec 7 by daveB | I thought first half was really dull, West Brom spent most of it wanting the game to be stopped and was quite funny that we scored in the injury time they created. Second half was a really good end to end game, we were the better side but at points in that second half West Brom were right in the game to win it let alone draw it but we kept going. I loved our intent to keep trying to score and we were rewarded with that. Love seeing QPR fan Chris Mepham again get caught playing out from the back and conceding, he seems to do that everytime we play against them although in reality it's probably only once before. Nardi had an excellent game great credit to him and thought Varane got better as the game wore on after a pretty poor start This team will go on and lose 2 or 3 in a row again but there is real progress so far this season which we shouldn't forget during the bad periods. |
Yeh I feared for the match report on 45 minutes, but it was great after that.

Last season we came 15th, winning 14, losing 18. Watford came 14th and lost 21 games! 21! Norwich came 13th losing 17 games. We've lost seven so far. We can - and will - lose twice as many and still finish higher than last season, as long as we bounce back from games we lose like Norwich with wins like yesterday. Kone and Burrell create and score goals we just haven't done in a decade. It's revolutionary! Changes everything.

Credit to MadBen for calling it out immediately and getting the Medical teams over ASAP. Looked nasty from the reactions.
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Believe it or not we can accept 2 or 3 game losing streaks this year knowing we have a squad that can reverse it as quick. Its the 7 game slide thats a season killer and we have watched enough of those last few years. As thrilled as we all are for the excellent Burrell only for his goals we would be in a much worse spot right now and teams will shift their focus onto him going forward you can take that to the bank. Kone is going to have to recapture his form pretty quickly I think the long winter is here its not getting any easier

What was it though, an Mbengue through ball in the face? Did it knock he/she out?
