Rather nice to be able to call out his abysmal performance having won rather than it sounding like an excuse because we lost.

Right down there with the worst of the erstwhile Mr Styles. I'm assuming incompetent rather than anything more sinister because we did win, but he gave us absolutely nothing all afternoon, and was pretty close to the most effective performer for the other lot.

Would be very happy not to lay eyes on him at one of our games again.

That was a pen on Davies as well. Not shoulder to shoulder but through his back.

My seat in the upper SA Stand provided a very good view of that and that was a stonewall penalty.

I called that on the match thread as soon as it happened and I have seen several replays and my opinion has definitely not changed

A very frustrating ref but we continue to win with him officiating so cant be all bad

One other Wardy thing that made me laugh. After the 5/6? Minute stoppage for the incident in the crowd Ward made Mbengue retake the game recommencing throw in again two yards away from where he threw it on. Really? after all that time he remembered the exact spot that the ball left the field.
