We’ll all interpret it the way that suites whatever side of the QPR culture war we fall on won’t we.
I still find it funny he’s considered integral but injured now it’s convenient but was unselectable when he was fit.
Anyway, time will tell I guess. If he starts getting lots of time on pitch in January I’ll happily eat my words. |

I mean, a lot of that is quite heartening.
Still not convinced about what happened around Furlong but interesting to see an agreement hasn't been reached. As he is not in role and also hasn't agreed departure terms, I assume it puts the redundancy theory to bed?

To be honest the mechanics / admin of it isn't really what i'm worried about, although I do hope he's comfortable.
This is what i'd like to know
1) Did his departure follow a row with a senior staff member?
2) Is it true players and parents were given no notice and just turned up to find him gone?
3) Why did this take place right in the most disruptive period of the season rather than at the end?
4) Was it planned or in any way involved with a new directional strategy?
5) Did we have to pay him off with money that could have been spent elsewhere?
I'm not expecting an answer to these, these are just my musings on a football forum. |

I think you misunderstood.
Lets say, for arguments sake, Paul Furlong had a row with Ben Williams and the relationship broke down to the point they couldn't work together.
Redundancy for Furlong might be a amicable way for everyone to save face. That would mean redundancy is the process but not the reason. This is what I mean.
Am I thinking the worst of people? Maybe, but I think there is just cause. |
