Just checked Middlesbrough's form ahead of Saturday. Won 6 out of 9 at home so far but all by only one goal. Not sure whether that makes me more confident or less! |

The quality of crossing in general has stepped up massively this season. Madsen on Saturday and Saito last night were absolute peaches, but we're seeing it every game from RND and others as well. Must have been a lot of work going on with that and it's paying off. |

Re Mbengue, sooner or later one of those mental charges forward with a bullet shot is going to go in. I don't think any of us will ever recover. One on Saturday that rebounded for Chair to score, and the one last night that just landed in Liverpool, but it's going to happen. |

I think we really have bigger things to worry about than a faux pas from a keeper who otherwise had a very good game, which seems to be treated on here as a symptom of the club disintegrating before our eyes.
As for stating "you couldn't make it up", if you couldn't make up a scenario where a keeper forgets a new rule, then you haven't got much imagination tbh. |

Of all the people to blame, or targets to abuse over a bad performance the fans would be bottom of my list. Selling out home games and away ends for mid-table finishes or relegation battles year after year, but it's the fact that some chose to leave at 4-1 down that riles you. Amazing. Personally, I would take the fact that SE is agreeing with you as a strong indication that you have this one wrong. |

History also tells us that inquests are not always providers of the truth. The basic fact is that had the fans not charged into the Italian section, there would have been no crush, no wall collapse and no deaths that day. Granted there were other factors involved but none would have come into play had the charge not happened. |
