We knocked it on the head after a half hour .
Giving it to Varane is doubly dangerous.
I love him but I’ve noticed he can’t pass water in the first twenty minutes of a game never mind complete one.
He’s usually fine after that . |

I was screeding staircases in Old Oak Common at 4 o clock . Quick trip back to Watford , Had dinner , back into London . Parked up at little worm scrubs.
Enjoyed a fantastic game where we dominated until that gut wrenching equaliser and then that winner . Home for 11.15 , straight to bed and up again at 5.40 .
I literally floated into work today .
It’s why we do it for moments like that .

Word for our supporters last night . Thought they /we were magnificent last night . Almost a carnival like atmosphere safe in the knowledge that this side and coach has something about them.
Backed the team from start to finish and THAT winner .

He was getting a lot of grief at our end for punching rather than catching .
He wasn’t under a terrific amount of pressure either .

Poor first half from both sides however West Brom were there for the taking and we did the job.
Thought Kone was excellent today but Burrell gets MOTM . Never stopped running and a fine finish for his first but THAT miss . He could have walked it in .
Have to have another look at that though . Possibly being too harsh .
Conditions were a bit tricky today so possibly the reason for such a poor first half .
Word for Nardi though . He saved us a few times but on other occasions he looked dodgy .
3 points so very happy . 28 points in the first week of December. No complaints. |
