Where are the Coal Mines
at 19:04 1 Jan 2026

Depends on what side we put out.
West Ham will field mostly reserves, I'd say.
Even though they're a championship side in all but name, they will still be desperate to cling on to their place at the bottom of the pile in the top tier.
We'll see, anyway.

Twice in the space of little more than a month, we let a team in the relegation zone show us up.
Norwich must wish they could play us every week. I'm surprised their fans didn't sing that.
It's a good job we haven't a cat in hell's chance of going up.
If Norwich can do that to us, twice in one month, I shudder to think what far better sides in the Premiership would do to us, given half a chance.

Baggie ball bags - Match Thread
at 10:56 30 Dec 2025

Julien Stephane has to play his best starting eleven every game.
We just simply don't have a squad good enough to pretend we're a rough and ready version of Real Madrid.
We barely have a squad capable of covering the odd injury and suspensions.
We have dropped way too many points to teams that had we performed to our strength, and the best of our ability, we would have undoubtedly come away with something from.
Now, we're up against the budgies on new year's day, a bogey side that could squeeze a lucky win off us without having to so much as bat an eyelid.
My God, Rangers, I'd have torn my hair out, had I any, years ago.
Frustrating, doesn't even begin to cover the experience of being a QPR fan in this day and age.

A miserable return for Marti as white hot QPR incinerate Leicester – Report
at 07:26 22 Dec 2025

I have been reliving the 1st 45+ minutes in my head, Mbengue, Mbengue, Mbengue, gue, gue, since half-time on Saturday.
Call me greedy, but I was, like you, a little peeved we didn't add 1 or 2 more goals to our tally in the 2nd half.
In fact, I was thinking we might have achieved our biggest ever home win, such was our dominance of that heavenly 1st half.
To my mind though, we're too much of a Jekyll & Hyde kinda side, for me to be even a tad optimistic about where we might be headed.
How we do in back to back aways at Portsmouth and West Brom next up, will be really telling.

I won't clap him, but I won't boo him, either.
To me, he's just another manager of a club who's sense of entitlement is now off the scale.
I want us to beat them, but not just because Marti manages them now.

Fearsomely in-form Boro too hot for QPR to handle – Report
at 09:56 15 Dec 2025

If we had played anywhere near as good as we can play, the whole complexion of the game would have been entirely different.
Yes, Boro are a good side, yes, the table rarely, if ever, lies, but we made Norwich city look like Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago, we tend to do this a lot, especially on the tail end of 3 game weeks.
I'm afraid we've QPR'd ourselves again.
We, as a club, and it would seem a depressingly large part of the fanbase too, have accepted we don't do 3 game weeks, especially if we have managed to pick up 6 points from the first 2, happy days, put your feet up, and let whoever we play, wherever they are in the table, not only have the last 3 points of the week, with our compliments, but also here, have the performance of the season too, while we look like we have only taken up football just this very instant.
All very irritating, all very predictable with this club, and all so very QPR.

Eastward Ho ! Match Fred
at 14:50 30 Nov 2025

That performance sucked.
Norwich anchored in the bottom three, without a win all season, only getting their first point in midweek against Oxford at home, after having taken the lead!
Then along trundles QPR to their bloody rescue, and just like magic, Norwich become a green and yellow Real Madrid, puts 3 past us, and gladly accepts our early Christmas present to.them.
Bloody hells bells, Rangers.....A person would be hard pressed to call this club winners, wouldn't they?
There is a losing mentality at this club that really boils my piss at times, and it's one that seems to have plagued every generation of supporters, since 1886.
I wonder who the lucky lower league club who draws us in the FA Cup 3rd round, will be?

Had we drawn with Blackburn and today
at 14:29 30 Nov 2025

This thread demonstrates just why Queen's Park Rangers will never amount to much.

Yesterday's performance was completely unacceptable, it put a right dampener, no pun intended, on what had been up to then, a good week.

Bloody Norwich hadn't won a game at home all season, then Billy Smarts QPR circus turns up, and hey presto, Norwich are transformed into bloody Barcelona all of a fuggin sudden.

We should all be thoroughly pissed off, fed up to the back teeth, of this bloody club's reluctance to put teams like Norwich to the bloody sword.

There is a losers mentality about this club, and some of it's fans too, it would appear.

I used to like the Queen's Park Rangers anthem that used to be played at Loftus Rd as the players came out in the 70's and 80s, by the Loftus Roadrunners.

Where does Chair sit now?
at 08:41 6 Nov 2025

For me, he sits on the bench.
How many times did we all say, oh, Chair won't walk back into this side, he's going to have to fight for his place now, when he was out injured and nowhere near the first team?
And what happened? As soon as he's fit, he's shoehorned into a side that had just enjoyed it's best run of form.
I know the manager is to blame for why we have gone off the rails with his constant tinkering, and his fear of 3 game weeks, but it's no coincidence either that since Chair has been back, he's not been on the winning side yet.

Time outs.
at 08:31 6 Nov 2025

Yes, I find them extremely annoying.
Touchline coaching used to be a No-No, now it seems to be part and parcel of every game played anywhere.
And how many times have coaches been straying into the opposition coach's technical area this season?
Soon, they'll be going as far down as the corner flag.
Football today is a bloody farce.

Luton's Kennilworth rd stadium, easily the worst I've ever been too, and I remember going to Grimsby's Blundell park, once.

The team for Wednesday I imagine was picked before yesterday’s game…
at 07:04 2 Nov 2025

100% agree with this.
I thought Julien would have realised the importance of playing and keeping a settled side together for as much as possible, by now.
He hasn't, and his pathalogical fear of 3 game weeks, will stunt any real advancement our team could, and would make, otherwise.
He is, what he is though, so we will just have to ride his reign out.
Massively dissappointing.
I fear another development squad team, will ensure yet another early exit from the FA cup, is definitely on the cards right now.

A lot of people are banging on about us having played 3 games this week, and how we look tired and jaded.
Didn't Derby play 3 games this week as well, then?
How come they didn't look tired or jaded?
