Sign up for Referee school stay close to the game and maybe get all the way up the ladder .
Of course there is serious running but no career ending tackles to seal with

Feel bad you have to sit down and type up the match report its 2 if not 3 games in a row we were pathetic and got nothing when we dreamed of 7 or 5 points at least.
Money is always tight at Christmas and 4 games in 12 games puts unecessary strain on fans finances the players should at least die on their shields out there .

Goals conceded around Half Time - Mentality Minions?
at 00:20 2 Jan 2026

Thank you so much for taking the time to dig up those numbers I have been hoping for a while someone would get them.
It actually looks better that I thought going off my memory I thought we gave up more that that .
Really strange that we almost never get our heartsbroked at the end of the game we constantly get scored on here around the half
QPR have won way more games late on that our opponents we just need to get to added time level

An Air of Despondency
at 00:15 2 Jan 2026

Really strange post here Boston because my day went something like that also.No tv for the first half (ice story related I feel) then when it came back we were 1 down then so predictably we gave up a second goal which was the end.I too walked the dog in artic conditions and yes the dog has snow boots and warm sweater but I had warm clothes and the beautiful old QPR blue and red edges ,white middle and older crest circa 1986 .
Dinner just cooked marinated chicken veggies and baked potatoe with Kerrygold of course.
Followed here shortly by Barrys tea and some Jacobs Elite then finish up Robin Hood on Netflix or MGM tv.
Its bad enough getting beaten last 2 games but the manner we lost is more frustrating we are blowing so many great chances to pull up the table .its the hope that breaks our spirit following QPR

My thoughts exactly since the WBA fiasco.JS was moving parts around there hoping to win these 2 home games IMO yet we actually played worse and got nothing .If we draw or God forbid lose Sunday the knives could appear 3 weeks after our best performance in years how frustrating is that . 7 points out of 12 maybe 9 even could turn into 1 or 2 Jesus that would be bad
QPR just simply start games like crap almost weekly ,normally fight back but last 2 games nothing earned what is the motivational speeches like its not working .

Well our 5 minute brain fcuks each side of half time continues .Normally we give it up when the ref is about to blow the whistle here just after the restart so frustrating

We cannot play 3 poor games in a row since that stunning performance can we ?. Our players never seem truly ready to rip the door hinges the dressing room coming out to maul anymore maybe its just the modern game . Under Marti we had shocking bad first halves its seems like more of the same under JS

No but at least we showed fight after halftime and came away with a point .
Here we looked so beaten after their second goal it was both frustrating and maddening .How can we crumble so easily after the Leicester game ( I know anout the Marti grudge/revenge factor) when the whole think clicked and we dominated wildly.
Can we get to a happy medium and be competitive in every game even if we lose some.
At least fight to the death its what the fans and jersey require

Baggie ball bags - Match Thread

Problem is Ted that is 2 pathetic away performances in a row and we rescued 1 but tonight it never looked on even with all the attacking subs.
Hopefully it will all be fixed and we can get a couple of back to back wins they are badly needed now

Dunne rescues QPR from more Boxing Day blues – Report
at 15:30 28 Dec 2025

Would love to know if that turnaround and point saved was down to JS ripping them new assholes at half time or the players getting together and saying this is not good enough .
Either way it worked because there is very little doubt that would be a loss last year.
New Manager same slow starts last 2 years ( Marti is still guilty of this at LC and they are not recovering results) but we appear to have the ability/players to come back and save points which is progress IMO
This thread is facinating btw loving the comments shows a lot of passion in QPR fan base

Dunne rescues QPR from more Boxing Day blues – Report
at 01:44 28 Dec 2025

Excellent honest report on a pathetic first half and much improved second thankfully .
Imagine if we had survived until half time scoreless we could have scraped an ugly win.
Man Utd had Fergie time when they scored multiple goals after the full time whistle should have blown .QPR have the opposite giving away goals time after time seconds before the half time whistle its just baffling how we keep doing that .
Still 4 points out of 6 so far and we all would take the same next week

Ireland standing in their way if they both win their first game so it could be Dunne V Madsen battling to get on that flight to the US or Mexico in Irelands case.

I have been posting for a while about the big worry Burrell will get hurt from not all the game time/huge effort he produces but he is now well known to every oposition player and they will simply target him to take him out .
JS is being touted as an excellent 3 game per week manager but he is dropping the ball in this regard IMO .Rest Burrell against WBA then play him against SW where he can really do damage .

Thanks Boston really liked that interview he is a true Captain not afraid to point the finger at the squad when they underperform.
Loved the line "this team is on its own journey " not burdened by past Boxing day defeats.
We pulled out a point most fans will take it and be happy lets get ready for the next battle

christmas day food..
at 02:37 25 Dec 2025

We discussed this last year I think but our meal is pretty much this like Boston but we have Virginia Smoked spiral ham and turnips mixed with onions or carmalized to give it the proper name.Carrots and parsnips together really confuse the Yanks but are delicious.Nobody here ia able to attempt roast potatoes so we stick to Champ (northern Ireland mash with scallions, milk and Kerrygold I normally produce this one) Buttered crossiants before we devour the main course then my favorite ice cream cake with Barrys tea to wash it all down
Cheers .

Excellent point as usual Nix and for the first time in years we have options.
Watched an excellent video from Hoops and Dreams last night and they showed our probable line up for Friday then followed it up a second 11 including Chair and it was amazing the choices we have with those 22 players. What a lovely change it bodes well for the winter slog .
How do we feel about Nardi ,is he getting screwed over by the club or is that simply the role of a back up keeper now

Things I am worse at than wrapping Christmas presents
at 13:56 24 Dec 2025

Totally off topic but I now just literally read Snoop Dogg has a share of Swansea and is joined as part owner with Modric by 84 year old Martha Stewart his close friend.Wonder if she loves Doggy Style his biggest selling album ever
As for wrapping gifts my wife EXCELS at this torture and comes alive this time every year its actually impressive.
Me I just buy gift cards or have them wrapped in the store have neither time or patience to attack that project
