More like a dog awful, incompetent manager. That season we still had Parkes (until February), Clement, Gillard, Hollins, Francis, Bowles, Eastoe (until March), useful squad players like Busby & Shanks plus emerging youngsters like Roeder who we'd signed in the close season (and Burtenshaw initially didn't play) and Goddard.
That team should have had enough to stay up. |

I noticed on watching him get the award on the news this morning, they cut away to the audience and that ungracious twát Mbappe had a face like a smacked arse and wasn't applauding unlike everyone sitting around him.
I think he must have a problem with Kane. Remember that picture of him in the 2022 World Cup laughing after Kane smashed that penalty over the bar when we were losing 2-1?

Something has to be done about the schedule which is mental. Absolutely ridiculous that the second highest tier of professional football plays 46 league games.
Time for the EFL to lose four teams so we can have a 20 team Championship with two 24 team divisions below it. |

Martyn Rogers.
Signed from Man Utd by Tommy Doc at exactly the same time as Gary Micklewhite was in the summer of 1979.
Apparently made two appearances at the end of the 79/80 season. Hung about until 1981 without playing again when he was given a free transfer to Sydney Olympic where he stayed five years. |
