Two since he signed. He signed after the Sheff Weds game. He'll almost certainly have to you'd think with Mbengue suspended. [Post edited 25 Jan 22:12]

So what's the score with Edwards, three league games in since signing, not playing a single minute so far? |

"As someone else pointed out on another post, we used ours on 64, 74 and 82 4 players in total). So as much as we probably wanted to bring Edwards on, we couldn’t. That cost us the points" Well that is just frankly amateurish and embarrassing. |

I don't think we do struggle to score goals necessarily. Of those teams above us, we've scored more than Derby, Stoke, Preston, Watford and Millwall and as many as Bristol City. At the other end only Leicester, West Brom and Sheff Weds (obvs) have conceded more. As you say, conceding 14 in three games against the top three and only scoring three in return doesn't help |

Probably for the best, one League Cup appearance by the age of 23. Good luck to him. |

Phil Parkes for me. Was absolutely gutted when he was sold. I know we were on the way to relegation and I suppose funds needed to be generated for the upcoming rebuild in division two but it made no sense to sell him to someone who would be an upcoming rival in the division we were going to be playing in the following season. It's 37 games if the player accrued five yellows before the first cut off which Mbengue did. |
 | Forum Reply | MBengue ban? at 13:03 18 Jan 2026
No, he's on nine league bookings. The cutoff for a two game ban for ten yellows is game 37. [Post edited 18 Jan 13:04]

No. Only yellow cards in league games count towards a ban in the league. It changed a couple of seasons ago. [Post edited 17 Jan 12:21]

Swapped with Don Masson, primarily because we realised we dropped a bollock by letting Dave Thomas go and was signed as a replacement, at the same time though we lost Masson's superb passing ability in the middle of the park . The move suited neither party, neither really settled, Masson was unhappy at Derby (probably contributed to his poor form at the '78 World Cup) and within a year or so both were back at their spiritual homes of Notts County & Burnley. Souness or as Brian Moore and other commentators at the time pronounced it - Sou (to rhyme with cow) ness. |

We actually had three seasons there, two in the early 1930s and 62/63. In 62/63 we averaged just over 10,000. We had some decent crowds early on (18,000 against Hull in October) but by the last few games they were down to 5,000ish and the last home game against Coventry only 3,261 turned up. |
