Best Performance in years.

Injury crisis? What injury crisis?!? Seriously though, was pleasantly surprised that we managed to put out such a strong team and that they all seemed to be fit. Obviously we still have a lot of important players out; Burrell, Madsen, Chair and Lamptey to name a few that could be really influential this season. But we still managed to have quality players in every position and that's testament to the squad depth we have this season. Was really pleased to see substitutions that seemed more normal rotation and freshening rather than fitness management and damage control.

He had a shaky start but grew into the game. A microcosm of last season where he looked very ropey at first but improved hugely. Understandable given his lack of minutes this season and hopefully he'll be at his best from now on.

Yeah a proper performance fitness wise too. Kemper hobbled off, hopefully just tires legs, but other than that no disasters and we were able to make good subs to improve us rather than fighting fires.

Would have been a great game anyway, but feels really good to have had that bright finish and some strong performances by the subs to carry on momentum.

Not sure about that. If those players are actually fit to play I think it's a strong squad. Only two kids, Isak and Scarlett on the bench. Adamson and Kolli I'd consider first teamers now. Nobody played out of position, four good defenders in there and a proper CF. Of course it's a big "if" whether they are actually match fit.

If the first XI and bench are actually fit then I'm very happy with that line-up and bench.

Agree that overall his performances have been less than ideal recently, but he has shown flashes of quality and is consistently available. More "set up our sighs" than "mourning and weeping" if you will excuse my niche Catholic references. And, if you will indulge my Latin humour, not quite time to say "Harvey atque Vale".

We just don't seem to have anything on the field or on the bench to change this game

A very slight improvement and we've at least had a couple of sniffs at goal

Need a big response here, either from the players on the pitch, the manager or the players coming on. We've been very much second best but we can't surrender games like this if we're going to gain momentum and make some decent of this season.

Also,.if we make tactical or game managment subs at half time it saves our substitution windows to bring on replacements for injuries, which we haven't always been able to do.

It seemed to me like Adamson rushed into to snaffle the danger, and would have had the ball under control if Kolli hadn't tried to get it back and lost it. Not bashing the lad but a very frustrating moment.

A disappointing half. Credit to Birmingham, they look a good side; very solid and passing the ball very well. We haven't been disastrous but sub-par in every area and that's left us scrambling to deal with them. We can't make the ball stick in their half to build any attacking momentum. Have to say it looked an awful balls-up by Kolli for their goal, mis-control then taking it away from his teammate only to give it away and then fail to recover. But hopefully an improvement from everyone second half.

He does have a touch of the Samba Diakite about him. A loveable homicidal maniac. Wish him the best.

Fear for Mbengue. Not sure if Lamptey will be available much in the foreseeable future so think we might see Dunne reverting back to RB to cover for Adamson. Hopefully Morrison will be up to it if called upon at CB. Very grateful to have Adamson performing so well at RB atm.

Charles was impeccable again. Excusing the goal at the end, he snuffed out any hint of danger.

Slight downer at the end there but all in all a great win and performance.
