In common with many other countries including France and Germany, UK Birthright citizenship has not been a thing since the early 80's. It depends on whether at least one parent is a citizen. If neither are, then it's wide open to things like settled status, EU residence etc. A child who, although born in the UK hasn't lived here in over a Decade is not automatically entitled to a passport no matter how good a footballer he is. Which is as it should be. |

I certainly don't disagree with you. All all levels in the UK entrepreneurship is becoming harder and harder, be it through taxation or legislation. |

It's just the complete lack of understanding of anything regarding how economies work you only find on the left. I've seen people grumbling now about Tesco. About how none of their staff should be on UC because of their "gargantuan" profits. Firstly, Tesco's profit margin, in line with most of the supermarkets, is about 3%. That's tiny and gives very little margin for error. Secondly, a lot of their staff are part time. Parents, people in marriages where one only works PT to help with childcare. That's what UC was designed for. |

Imagine the looks on their faces when they realise that their tax rises have actually resulted in a decrease in tax revenue. If only that was a well established and understood economic reality that people had pointed out to them before they undertook such an idiotic approach. |

Highest since the Pandemic.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/liv Whouda thought that making it expensive for businesses to hire staff and operate in general would negatively impact employment? |

If it alienated them then they won't give a damn about the Ospreys then will they? According to the rest of the World Scousers are all thieves and on benefits. Should we take that as a given too? |

I think certain players need to be less certain of their place in the side. Ronald has flattered to deceive for a while. Cullen is clearly not good enough to be starting games, yet still does. Stamenic does some good stuff and then we get the occasional brain fart, or he goes into Grimes mode and slows everything down. Yalcouye has clearly earned a few starts yet again was on the bench. If Widell is fit enough to be on the bench, then he should be fit enough to start. Having said all that, there has been an OTT level of reaction to what is becoming the unusual experience of defeat, even taking into account the nonsense from drama queens like Perchy. Someone somewhere compared it to the Watford game and I think that's not a million miles from the mark. We score the first goal and we win that yesterday. I think Matos has to have a look at himself and his starting lineup and learn from the experience. [Post edited 15 Feb 11:20]

In common with many of the people living in the Swansea area I don't really give a shit. A lot of the rest are a bit like you. Pretend to care but never really make the effort to support it. Contemptible really. I do have sympathy for the few genuine Rugby fans out there, but I find it faintly ridiculous how many people are pretending to give a damn now and haven't set foot at an Ospreys game for years. |

You spent years arguing with me that people watching Six Nations games were all actual Rugby fans. Glad you now understand the obvious. Rugby is for tourists. Nobody really gives a shit. Football is the serious sport and has been for decades. |

If the country was ruled by the mega rich then the Govt wouldn't currently be doing its best to drive out the higher rate taxpayers and make it increasingly difficult to run a business. Precisely the opposite would be happening I'd imagine. Since about 1997 the country has been run by the moderately successful. Lawyers, senior civil servants. People on a wage high enough to insulate themselves from the consequences of their idiotic policies, yet low enough to still make them sick with envy of anyone who has more than they do. One of the few things Lowe says that I agree with is that nobody in any position of power in the UK has actually built a business. Few have ever done a manual job. Most have jumped from school to Uni to comfy white collar job/researcher/political assistant/civil service type roles. You can see this when the Left crow about how "educated people are more left wing". Yes, I'd imagine that lots of people with basically worthless degrees who have parlayed them into careers in Academia or the civil service are left wing, whilst the bloke who left school at 16, did his trade and now runs a reasonably successful contracting business would lean more right. Which one would have more of an idea how things are actually going? |

If Antoniazzi loses her seat, it won't be because of the Ospreys. |

When the national atmosphere has reached a point where an elected politician feels comfortable trying to put Jewish owned companies out of business, you do have to wonder where the way back is. |

Straight through in about 10-15 minutes both times. Very quick and easy process there, although you can see how it could become a nightmare very quickly. We had loads of food recommendations but other than Liberty Bagels (which her son wanted to go to) we most just ate where we ended up. Carnegie Diner came up three or four times. That was decent. We had a Famous Original Ray's pizza. We ordered two mediums between the four of us and they were the size of HGV steering wheels. Ended up finishing them off for breakfast. |

Home now, but it's something I wouldn't mind seeing if I go again. We had her kids with us so a lot of things that we might've done ourselves we left off the list as it would have meant nothing to them. The 9/11 Memorial didn't have the same impact for example as neither of them had been born when it happened. |
