Just watched TE's press conference.
There's nothing wrong with his logic but he's either not getting that message over to the players or the players don't trust what he's preaching.
I think his problem is that he has a bunch of players that individually are not committed & collectively are not good good enough. |

Not sure Romeu is even in the dressing room.
He's Not been included in the last couple of squads, not even on bench so unlikely that he's involved in the dressing room. |

No point even thinking about Thomas Frank until Tonda has gone.
Did anyone see Tonda's after match interview against Hull.
Totally embarrassing., talk about a Rabbit in the headlights.
He should never have been offered this job it's far too big for him.
Can't blame him for taking it but Total blame goes on SR for even considering him for the job.

It shows you care about what you are doing.

Tonda has gone public & said that he's not worried about losing his job.
That just about sums our club up, he should be worried, if he cared about what he's doing then he would be worried.
If you heart is in the job then of course you'd care about losing it.
If he doesn't care then the players won't care either, it's blatantly obvious that the heart has gone from our club & the only ones that care are us fans. |

Even without the injuries that Larios has had he'd have struggled to make it in Championship & definitely not good enough for the Premiership.
If you're as small as he is you have to be exceptional to play at top level.
He was quick & technically good but his size & injuries will always hold him back. |

Looks like SR are determined to cut the wage bill.
Larios = Sold.
Edwards = Sold
Downes = on loan
Bazuna = on loan
Is the club in financial trouble or are trying to get enugh I the kitty to bring in some decent reinforcements.
Only time will tell. |

As you say, they've got to play the new guy.
He's been bought to replace Baz who was regarded as our number 1 keeper so the new guy must play.
What he's like none of us know & I'm sure SR don't know if he's any good but he's cost us nothing, that's SR's logic.
Seems a weird one to me, ship out your 1st choice keeper & replace him with a complete unknown.
Shades of " Ali Dia" here.
Perhaps the new guy will start & get substituted at half time & we never see him again. |

I totally agree that Sporting Directors + Agents + VAR are killing our wonderful game.
Look at Jason Wilcox is he the genius he's made out to be or just a fraud.
I think the latter, he stitched us up & he's probably going to do the same to Man U.
We are just one of many clubs that are totally controlled by so called Sports Directors.
They are making all the decisions on players in & players out plus I'm convinced that our long list of coaches have all been told what players to use & those not to use.
It's all about increasing the value of players by giving them game time so it increases the asset value of the club.
Winning matches I mo longer a priority. |

Agreed, historically we've had some success bringing back old players, but not under the ownership of SR.

Baz has been loaned to Stoke for remainder of Season.
Hope it's a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the Season.

We all got a bit excited when Oriol came back but it was very obvious that his lack of match practice & lack of pace made him look very exposed in the few minutes he's had on the pitch.
So, was it a desperate mistake to bring him back.
We haven't got a very good track record when bringing back golden oldies.
Must learn from our mistakes & NOT even consider bringing JWP back. [Post edited 13 Jan 11:15]

We keep on falling apart in the 2nd half of matches.
WHY.
Are we lacking in stamina & not fit to last the 90 + minutes.
Or is it that the half time team talk has an adverse affect on the players.
I must admit I do find Tonda boring but not as boring as Will Still was.
Other teams come our fired up for 2nd half knowing that we will fall apart.
