 | Forum Thread | Leo & Stewart injuries at 15:49 12 Mar 2026
Both Leo Scienze & Ross Stewart having scans on potential injuries. If we lose both of them for an extended period then that could determine the rest rest of the season for us. Particularly losing Leo would be a huge loss, we looked toothless after he went off. I think Tonda got it wrong bringing on Fellows & playing him on the left, he is totally ineffective playing there, Sam Edizie is a natural for that position & did OK when he came on. We've got used to not having Ross Stewart available so he would not be as big a loss as Leo. I think Slack Jack is also carrying an injury, it was noticeable when he was in the tunnel when coming out for 2nd half that he was rubbing his shoulder then he had a heavy fall on it & looked in pain. We look so ordinary without Leo. Fellows is a total waste of space, he's lightweight, lacks commitment & very predicable. He's bad enough on the right & even worse on the left. Ño, I don't rate home at all. |

Bit surprised that Tonda has decided to just have just one defender on the bench for tonight's game. I like the positive approach with plenty of attacking options on the bench, just hope we don't get an injury to any of the defence. |

Both Downes & Matsuki are banned for that game. We'll miss Downes he been playing really well since Tonda took charge. |

Wow. That's a toughie. Arsenal at St Mary's. At least its a home game. |
 | Forum Reply | So what do we think about Peretz? at 08:40 9 Mar 2026
Agreed, we judge keepers by clean sheets. I think he is a big upgrade on both Baz & Macca, he's vocal & his defenders know that he's there. But, the clean sheets coincide with the switch from three ctr backs to two ctr backs & conventional full backs. That change with Peretz in goal has made a huge difference not just defensively but to the shape of the side. Give Tonda credit for sorting that out. |

Problem we'll have will be keeping him. If he continues to impress then it won't be long before he's head hunted by a bigger club. |

We still do not have a proven prolific goalscorer up front. Majority of our goals are coming from defenders & midfielders. But that is not a bad thing, good to see goals coming from all over the pitch, takes the pressure off the front men. Talking of goalscorers, I see that David McGoldrock (remember him) scored hat trick for Barnsley yesterday. |
 | Forum Reply | Give Slack Jack some slack at 10:33 26 Feb 2026
I own up, was the one that instigated the Slack Jack comments. That was based on Jack's mistakes in previous seasons. But he's stuck at it & now he & THB looked like a decent Championship partnership. I watched the QPR game on Sky & just loved them showing the teams in the tunnel before the game, Jack was talking to the little mascot lad as if it was his son. I get it now, that's why he is club captain & been given a new contract. It's not all about ability it's just as much about commitment & character & Jack certainly doesn't lack that. So away with the SlackJack in future I'll refer to him as " CrackerJack". |

I've been one of Slack Jack's biggest critics but credit where its due he's done a very steady job since he got back into the side. I think the fact that Tonda has done away with the 3 ctr back system has helped us defensively, both Jack & THB look better lined up as just 2 ctr backs with 2 conventional full backs making up the back four.. What also helps is having a keeper that organises his defence. |

He's very deceptive. Much quicker than he looks & physically strong. An upgrade on the diminutive AA. |
 | Forum Thread | Matsuki has to start in preference to Fellows at 22:34 24 Feb 2026
Not just because he scored two goals tonight but every time he plays he impresses so Matsuki should be a regular instead of Fellows. He's got more to his game, he's physically stronger than Fellows, he tracks back & gives Bree more help than Fellows. And as he proved tonight & in previous games he can score goals. Come on Tonda stick with Matsuki. |
 | Forum Thread | What happened to Dennis Wise at 20:23 23 Feb 2026
Does anyone remember Dennis Wise having a short spell as Caretaker Manager for us circa 2005. I think he ended up Managing some foreign side. As a player he was a classic " cheeky little chappy:: always in the oppositions face & loved a scrap. |
