Thank you for taking the time to post at what is so obviously a very sad and painful time for you. I’m glad The Rangers turned it on for you in the 2nd half against Preston - it seems very poignant that they should come up with “one of those Rangers games” on what must have been an emotional afternoon for you.
I never met your Dad, but I used to love his posts - he certainly didn’t mince his words!
One from East Carleton, village about 6 miles south of Norwich.
When fans were singing “Norwich’s a sh_thole” song in the concourse last season, I said to a bloke stood nearly “I say, I live here and I have to disagree, chaps” and he said “so do I. Wymondham”.
Wow. I said to a Whammer before their game in the week that Swansea wont last. Brilliant stuff, Rangers. Now I can’t help wondering if Jack10 was there today. Couldn’t find his thread but I do hope he was or he might never go again!
Yup. My City mate has said, for a long time, “I don’t care what they do. They can’t take those moments away from me. Barely a day goes by when I don’t think about the game against your lot”.
What, even though those moments will have proved to be, in essence, lies?
Agreed. Also, “if he could take back what he did, he would”.
What, just the Boro one? Or all the other times?
All the bloke wants to take back is getting caught.
“I sincerely regret …. getting caught. I let down my friends, family and trusted colleagues… by getting caught. If I knew what would happen if I got caught ….. etc etc”
