Pretty impressive losing both the last two games.
Brook is a joy to watch bat, and clearly the best all-format player in the world right now, but jury is still out on his captaincy. |

Hearing the fall out between players and management is hilarious.
There's a reason Bruno Fernandes has never made it to the absolute top of the game, the bloke can't run. Having him in midfield is playing with 10 men defensively.
Any team that can press effectively, and pass sharply with movement, is going to absolutely thrash that shower Utd have put together.
Absolutely here for it. |

I have been on this site, or its Rivals predecessor, since I was about 14 years old and I'm 40 now.
Ted Hendrix has been one of the most constant, and engaging posters, in all the time I have been here as a regular poster or chronic lurker.

Do we really need a boo boy?
I'm still a fan of Harvey Vale.
I've spent enough of my QPR supporting life watching players you know aren't going to make anything happen.
With Vale, you always feel there is a chance that something may happen. I'm here for it.
He's definitely at this best wide right I'd say, or at 10, and simply isn't a CM at this level which seems to be where a lot of the anger in this thread stems from.
The state of our collective performance ratings when we've lost are so low there should be a 24 hour grace period before we're allowed to submit them I reckon. |

I was in Pisa with one of my best mates.
The sheer number of photos she had me take of her and the tower was unreal.
Admittedly I am a pretty shabby photographer but jeez we all know the thing leans.
There's some lovely and well-photographed diving rocks at Hampi in India. Loads of people get great pics of themselves running, jumping and turning middair and giving a cool thumbs up in their photos. I ran up, slipped and the photo of me falling backwards with a look of terror on my face could probably pass as one of those "photos taken just before someone died" macabre things you see online. |

I think he was a loan with an option to buy, so doubt he's out of contract. Transfer Market has his contract ending in 2028, so the last year and cheaper.
A decision for another day, but I agree he's bloody good! |

Horrible to read about RJ Mitte, and the seeming confirmation that he took his own life.
I used to work with support groups for living with CP, and other visible conditions, and his success and public profile meant a lot to many people. A short life, well lived with a tonne of positive impact and very sorry to have such a tragic end. |

It shows how little I know about football that coming away from the Dulwich Hamlet London Senior Cup Final last year, Adjetey-Brew was one of the players I was least impressed with on the field that night. He looked like he was struggling with the physical aspect of the game first half, but clearly not an issue now two divisions (I think?) higher than DH were.
It would seem to make sense for the club to recall, and send to a League Two club for the second half of the season...but then run the risk of it not going well.
Was in Bristol last weekend visiting my brother who lives near the Rovers ground. Did ask a couple of Gasheads in the pub what they made of Sanyaolu but they hadn't seen enough of him to make much of him at all unsurprisingly |

Still t-shirt and shorts weather in Mid-Sussex.
Walked by the local reservoir in Ardingly at the weekend. Terrifying to see the state it is in after this summer.
Come on a few weeks of rain. I need to get my head down and do some work, too tempting to go for strolls in this early October sun. |

Yeah, Hull are much more direct and going at teams with a little bit of pace and physicality which seems to work better.
I went to see Brighton recently with a Seagulls mate. They were only playing Tromso, but the speed and power of their line-up in real life was miles ahead of where we are as a try to play good football Championship side.
Daresay Coventry will make a better fist of the parachute payments than Hull in due course however, as still expect both to drop. |

I always felt like our playing of Bastille 'Pompei' was a little tongue in cheek with its pre-chorus of "How am I going to be an optimist about this?"
Anyone know if that was a sneaky part of why it got played?
I'm honestly too busy chatting away to pay too much attention to the music, and the speakers are dodgy. It isn't a good song though, do feel for the lads who must have been over the moon...but it's just not a good song. Do fear for them with the attention seeking fans we have who are going off big time on socials. Hope they're ok. |

Always have done. Went to plenty of games at Griffin Park with friends. Not been to the new place yet though.
Good to see them doing so well. I don't have it in me to wish ill on other footy clubs (bar Chelsea and Luton.) |

I wasn't having a pop at either Bennie or Pearman.
Daresay I have been Bennie's biggest fan in my block of season ticket holders so far. Really think there is a player there.
Shall do more than simply state facts about the game situation they inherit in future, though much as I like Bennie I'm not sure it's enough to convince me to watch any Scottish footy. |
