I heard a commentary on the radio about the possibility of a bailout from the European Central Bank which is of course funded by the EU countries.
Their deficit is growing and now running at 6 percent a year. |

The WRU spends about £30M on Admin, Marketing & Support Costs which is three times higher than the Irish RU. This is essentially costs of running the WRU which seem excessive compared to Ireland.
The mounting debt is now eating into income and is increasing each year and now costing over £3M a year to service. |

In the article it says that introducing the new regime would cost too much £80M in transitional relief.
