Christian Nourry - Two Year Anniversary
at 19:45 27 Jan 2026

He needs a big sale or two of players that have joined the club on his watch, to show that the buy low/sell high approach is working.

He also needs to get on top of the injury issues, not deny we have an issue like they did after last season, and continued progression up the table.

Sky Live Games question
at 19:21 26 Jan 2026

This is from the EFL website:-

"Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be announced on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).
Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance.
Selections for matches scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season will be announced the week prior."

The current live TV games for Feb for QPR are Charlton, Hull and Southampton away

Yes, that statement reads like it was written by an actual person rather than some of the ChatGPT inspired stuff he normally puts out.

Four minutes of madness – Report
at 15:51 26 Jan 2026

Do the number of views of the match reports vary depending on whether we have won or lost? Or do away reports get more views than home matches?

I always read the reports irrespective of the results but wondered if overall numbers are affected by the result?

Four minutes of madness – Report
at 15:05 26 Jan 2026

By yesterday evening, I'd actually managed to get over the shock / disappointment of the last 5 mins. As soon as I read Clive's report, it all came flooding back.

Still worth a read though.

Agree but the problem is at the moment, with all our injuries, we need them for the first team/bench

He also argued with the assistant over a throw and dived trying to win a couple of free-kicks which the ref didn't give.

In circumstances like this, I would love the ref to explain why the player didn't get booked when others did for far less. Incompetence or bias?

Thought he did ok without the ball but everything he tried with the ball didn't come off. He wasn't the reason we lost.

Leicester fans think they are a bigger club than they actually are. They had a purple patch where they won the league and FA cup but are not big enough to compete with the big clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City etc.

They have half a squad who think they are premier league quality but in reality they are not.

Cifuentes' exit means Leicester are now looking for their sixth permanent boss since FA Cup-winning Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers was sacked in April 2023 - as Clive has said many times about QPR, if you keep changing the manager with little success, the problem isn't the manager.

Lots of people around me said we should be subbing Mbengue way before the sending off. You could just see the way the game was going and the way the ref was, that a 2nd yellow would appear at some point.

Think we only used 4 subs - aren't we allowed 5, so could have brought Edwards on for him when we subbed on Kolli/Bennie or when Field came on.

Agree with most of this apart from 'Those castigating Stéphan for not taking him off after the first booking are clearly just saying this with the massive benefit of hindsight.' Lots of people around me said we should be subbing Mbengue way before the sending off. You could just see the way the game was going and the way the ref was, that a 2nd yellow would appear at some point.

Could have made the change either when Kolli/Bennie came on or when Field came on.

I think Bannan often is a wnkr when he plays for the opposition, but he is one of those players that you would love to have in your own team.

Thought Stephen played well but Rachel got lucky with Faraaz not voting for her when we knew Jack would. I also think, if Rachel had a chance to get Stephen out and take all the money herself, she would have done but she didn't get the chance.

Overall an entertaining series, but quite a few of the faithful didn't have a clue and forgot that it was actually a game (looking at you Roxy).

It seemed to me that the ref was looking to send either Smyth or Mbengue off - the threshold for fouls seemed a lot higher for Wrexham than us.

Given that and the fact the recently Mbengue seems to tire dramatically in the last 10, I don't know why the manager didn't sub him off when he made the last change. We have a £4.5 mil defender on the bench who could have come on and replaced him - without the sending off I think we hold on for the win.

Anyone know how many games Mbengue will miss now as he had already picked up his 10th yellow before the 11th yellow/red card?

On A Lighter Note

I thought the strip near to the Stan Bowles side looked slightly better than the Sheff Weds game but the pitch overall is threadbare. Didn't understand having the sprinklers on at all given the amount of rain this week.

Hope the club understand what has happened and have plans to use the two week gaps between home games that we have a few times over the next few weeks to try to make some improvements. Assume it will need major work in the summer.

What a disappointing end = Faraaz had worked out who the traitors were and then got conned by Rachel.

All could have been so different if the chests between James / Rachel had come out the other way

I think if Rachel goes than Stephen wins as the others will think Jade is the final traitor. If James goes, I think Rachel turns on Stephen.

I've got us 15th on 60 pts. Coventry and Middlesboro top 2 with Ipswich, Hull, Wrexham and Stoke filling the playoff places.

Same bottom 3, Blackburn, Oxford and Sheff Weds
