Forum Reply Tonda at 16:51 24 Feb 2026 I quite like that Eckert isn’t one of these attention-seeking coonts on the touchline like that idiot Jones. He’s a thinker, and he talks a lot of sense. Has also been adaptable; I think he was too slow to ditch 3 CB’s, but he did it just in time for the Fratton game. I think he’ll have a good career in the game. I didn’t see myself saying this at Christmas, but I think he deserves a good crack at this job.
Forum Reply QPR Game Matchday Thread at 15:52 24 Feb 2026 Drove past Deportivo la Coruna’s ground earlier on whilst en route to a tour of the Estrella Galicia brewery in Coruna. From what the cabbie was saying, sounds like parallels with Saints; they are in the second division and were in the third division a few years ago.
Forum Reply QPR Game Matchday Thread at 15:08 24 Feb 2026 On a cruise in Coruna 🇪🇸 The guide for the cruise states they are showing our game in the main bar, but we shall see. I have the firestick as a back-up option.
Forum Reply Ian McNabb at 15:05 24 Feb 2026 How I look back with nostalgia at the time I drove you to Huddersfield away and you insisted on being car DJ and putting Ian McNabb on for most of the trip. We won 3-1, handily…..
Forum Thread Potentially a few games to be re-scheduled at 09:37 20 Feb 2026 If we beat Fulham..... I hadn't realised that the quarter-finals of the FA Cup are over Easter weekend. Therefore Ipswich at home (on Good Friday) and Wrexham away (on Easter Monday) would both have to move. Wrexham away would also have to move if they beat Chelsea in the 5th round. And this is with Norwich at home still to be re-scheduled. This could all get very clustered if we beat Fulham. Thinking we could definitely have done with signing another striker in January to give us more strength in depth.
Forum Reply What commentator do you dislike the most? at 07:49 20 Feb 2026 Yes, I thought Brian Moore was really good. And I liked John Helm. Gerald Sinstadt was great as well, his commentary of Channon’s goal against Liverpool was class. Also another mention from me on Clive Tydlesley. I love this commentary of his on Lambert’s goal against Skates in the Cup (we won’t talk about the rest of that game….) VIDEO
Forum Reply Fulham away at 17:55 19 Feb 2026 Yeah, we've got a few quite appealing away games either side of that game (Sheff Wed, West Brom, Cov) and people only have so much money.
Forum Thread Leicester appealing against 6-point deduction at 13:15 19 Feb 2026 Blimey, this could get messy. Seems that if this is deemed a frivolous appeal, the deduction could be increased. Why on earth didn't the League sort this out in the summer? Still, will keep our friends along the coast on edge a bit....
Forum Reply Sam Edozie's Brother Scores For Wolves at 08:29 19 Feb 2026 I'd like to be able to have some sympathy for Arsenal. But sadly I can't. They have spent a fortune to be serial chokers.
Forum Thread We're not useless in the second-half of games any more at 08:28 19 Feb 2026 Anybody else notice this? Our downturn in form a month or so ago seemed to coincide with second-half collapses. And now we seem to be getting stronger as games go on, obviously last Tuesday was the classic example. Maybe it's just that Eckert is getting better at making subs. Hopefully haven't jinxed things here.
Forum Reply What commentator do you dislike the most? at 13:02 18 Feb 2026 I rarely watch football on the TV, partly as I have little interest in it, and partly due to the commentators. Matterface is an arse. ITV should be banned from screening football for sacking the excellent Clive Tydlesley and replacing him with that berk. Jonathan Pearce is utterly terrible. Has inherited the Motson trait of treating the viewer as if they were a 4 year-old. Barry Davies was the master. Treated the viewer as a grown-up and more than willing to give a negative opinion with a withering put-down. [Post edited 18 Feb 15:21]
Forum Reply Sam Edozie Cah He Play A Part at 12:59 18 Feb 2026 Definite upgrade on Robinson. Also an option to play on the right-wing. I do like Fellows, but his end product seems to be becoming increasingly erratic. Edozie could score a crucial goal or two for us in the weeks to come.
Forum Reply Away Games at 08:14 17 Feb 2026 I suspect how many tickets we sell for Fulham will depend on when the game is, with trains looking dicey. As we have established, quantity does not necessarily equate to quality 😉
Forum Reply Fulham away at 06:59 17 Feb 2026 Perfect opportunity for my favourite ditty….. The bells are ringing For the yellow and blues 🎶 🎶
