I'd like us to go two up top with Kolli and Burrell. This game's here for the taking of we show some bloody ambition

No changes at HT as always. Because why would you want to change anything about how we played first half?

I believe we're actually on minus xG

Pretty much as bad as the first half Vs Pompey, except West Brom are every bit as bad as we've been

This is just an awful advert for Championship football

Mental starting XI, that. Stéphan needs to cool it with his oscillations doesn't he? One three-game week he makes basically no changes, now he's changed most of the team

Actually scratch that. Just remembered I stuck a tenner on Mad Dog getting booked so that's now my biggest annoyance of the day

Indeed, but doesn't cover or excuse that impassive and embarrassing first half. The fact we managed to up our game only slightly in the second half and managed to take something out of the game makes it frustrating as if we'd played to a half decent level we could have won that potentially.

As you say though, didn't lose at least

Biggest gripe of the day for me was his continued weird pronunciation of names. Today was 'Paul' for Poole and their keeper being Schmeed

I can't agree with that. Agreed that no-one in green and white is anywhere near playing the sport of football today, but Dembélé has been the worst of a rotten bunch, followed by Cook

There is absolutely no way Dembélé should be emerging out of that tunnel second half. So I fully expect Stéphan to allow him to keep mooching about ineffectually and passing the ball to the opposition for at least another 15 minutes

Wasn't that King Charles' main message yesterday?

That was as pathetic and gutless an opening 45 minutes as you're likely to see. Dembélé has reverted to type and been the square root of fxxxing useless but in truth no-one is bothering out there. Tw@ts

There's some comfort in recognising that some things never change

One of Nourry's mates doing it remotely from Dubai now?

Definitely agree. There's was a match a few games ago where he returned to his former self but generally over the last 9-12 months he's appreciably improved his final ball and decision making. Maybe I'm imagining things but he's even diving a bit less than before

TBF his favoured position is LW so technically he sees himself as an inverted winger.

Often frustrating but unquestionably full-hearted player - definitely the right sort. Keep as long as he wants to sign within wage budgets
