It seems that these players are utter sh!ts. They wanted the yes man, easy going young manager to get the job. They got the previous one the sack, now taking it very easy under this manager.
I don't "support" Trump but I do support the ceasefire in Gaza, Venezuelan people celebrating because they hope they may no.longer starve and the attempt to stop.the war in Ukraine.
But wasn't the Venezuelan president also doing drugs deals in to the USA, so was causing issues there? That ofcourse might be a nice excuse. I don't doubt that Trump is doing it for his own needs, for oil and for America, but without any civilian casualties, I am not sure I would care if the leader that was making me starve and giving me a terrible life through bad economic mismanagement, was removed, anymore than we would all probably be delighted if Putin was removed.
Put it this way, it's nothing like the starvation and deaths purposely inflicted on the people.of Gaza, that Starmer and all western leaders did nothing about. It was Trump in the end, who brought about the ceasefire helping to ease the starvation there, that no European leader did anything about and even provided arms to Israel to.do it. So I am not one of those who thinks any of the world / European leaders are so much more moral than Trump.
I think if I remember rightly, because Rohl was at Sheffield Wednesday and was still under contract, Chansiri was demanding a high compensation. Rohl resigned, but he couldn't then just take another job without the compensation still being paid, otherwise that's what every manager would do, just resign then take another job. Still was here at the final game of the season, against Arsenal, so I assume we couldn't have got Rohl until later, as he was at Sheff Wed for their final game. Then you.pay more if we are PL.club so then have to wait until later until we were officially a Championship club.
All of that was going on in their thoughts and probably Rohl wanted more say as well than SR would ever allow so.they went for the cheap yes man again.
If your neighbour was also starving his wife and kids, wouldn't you be thanked for helping them, if the cause of this abuse and starvation was removed? They would be pleased to be helped I would have thought.
Well yeah, there is something in it for Trump, namely the oil he wants to make him and America money, but I doubt the venezuelan people care too much if they are starving and suffering anyway. If things improve for them (and who.knows if it will), the country starts being run better, why would they be unhappy if they are starving with inflation at 270 per cent.
Yes they did, which made it all the more likely that he would come here. But then they probably heard that Sheff Wed wanted compensation and Rohl wanted more etc, so they went for the cheaper option.
Without knowing too much detail about this, is it a bad thing to remove the leader of a country where there is hyperinflation, people are starving and suffering? More than 80 per cent (just an number I have seen) of people there live in severe poverty and our government advises that no-one should travel there, as it is highly dangerous. As far as I am aware, there hasn't been any civilian deaths and all that has happened is that Trump has removed a terrible leader who just ensured all his people starve and suffer.
He is an excellent manager, who had proved himself in the championship, who had links to Saints and who is a character full of energy and enthusiasm. But no, not for Sports Republic. An experienced championship manager who we all liked, and would have got fully behind him - Oh no SR had other ideas, probably because Rohl cost a few million more, and probably because Rohl is a confident, strong manager who would have told Sport Republic where to shove their pathetic ideas.
So Sport Republic and Spors thought I know let's do an experiment and appoint someone who has never managed in England before and someone who is as dull as dishwater. And then again, when that didn't work (because yes men with no experience doesn't work), we appoint another inexperienced, unknown manager (or head coach as they say, whomis also as dull as dishwater) so that they can rule him around as their next yes man.
I don't always listen to these, but I think this sums up how we are all feeling. St Mary's will become very toxic soon, once again like the Preston game, if we don't sort this out now. Stop playing out from the back. I agree, it's boring and ineffective. Fans will boo the team every time they do it. We don't want it. And stop lying to us Eckert. Tell us how much we need a striker instead of saying you are happy with the squad. If we end up faltering around 15th in the Championship, I think the fans will 99 per cent agree, we must get Sports Republic out.
This is true. Now that teams are pressing high when we play out from the back, we can't get out. The option to go long is not an option, because 6ft 5, defenders just win the ball, so we end up with the only option of passing between our defenders in our own yard box because there just arn't any other options. The midfielders are marked up and our strikers are too small.
A scapegoat to blame when it goes wrong, hence every manager fails. Sport Republic don't want anyone coming in and ripping up their ways, which is exactly what an experienced, strong manager would do. They want yes men, that's we keep getting them. And did you notice that Tonda's title is Head Coach not manager? Sport Republic will destroy this club and we will be just like Reading in league one with empty seats everywhere. It will just take a few seasons to happen, when the money runs out and then it will all be too late.
