Januiary transfer rumours
at 10:05 15 Dec 2025

They'll probably get their money back either to us or someone else.
They'd take the money imo as that would help them strengthen other areas of the team
Ronnie is also keen to leave, been a very tough couple of months for him.

Not sure why it would be Dunne dropped, JCS hasn't exactly been very good since he came back

Fearsomely in-form Boro too hot for QPR to handle – Report
at 07:55 15 Dec 2025

I'm not sure it's arrogance to pick this team at Boro, I didn't work but if we take our chances second half they could have had a very nervy finish. These games will highlight to him where we need to improve if we are going to cut the gap to the genuine play off chasers.

The 3 minute breaks will be standard in every match whether it's hot or not.
I think it's safe to say the American Broadcasters will be very happy with that.

The half time show in the final is also likely to extend that half time to at least 20 minutes

I'm across it all for work and worked on loads of these tournaments at ITV and this one is without doubt the biggest logistical nightmare we've ever faced.

There is also a 400 admin fee on top of that for both getting the tickets and then again for your refund

What are people’s thoughts on the Club pulling out all the stops in January ?
at 15:16 11 Dec 2025

The likes of Wrexham, Birmingham, Ipswich, Southampton & Sheffield United are likely to go big in January.

I'd hope the people running us are sensible enough to not put the club at risk with whatever they do in the transfer window. Personally I wouldn;t be going mad, we're still a long way short of a serious promotion push imo

Julien Stephan - He is doing quite well !!!!
at 09:03 11 Dec 2025

He had a few jobs where he'd be viewed as one of their worst ever managers like Grimsby and Leicester. Of course he also did very well at some clubs. All about finding a club where people buy into what you want to do. I think thats where Marti may well struggle at Leicester same as Holloway did as the club think they should be a lot better than what they actually are at the moment whilst at QPR it was right place right time for him.

A Morgasm – Report
at 23:38 10 Dec 2025

every year at Christmas my Nan would show a small interest in QPR asking how we're doing and then on Boxing Day we'd return home from a game that we'd usually lost and it would always be the same, Me and my Dad miserable and you'd hear from the kitchen my Nan telling my Mum, "I don't know why they bother".

Nan's not around anymore for me to tell her but it's moments like last night are why we bother and why we keepo going back for more.

I don't think I've ever seen my son as animated as he was at the end, jumping all over complete strangers and even when he got up this morning he was still bouncing around and showing me the goal and punching the air. One of those nights we'll be talking about for years to come.

He probably does have a better squad at Leicester but we'd seen that before with someone like Holloway doing so well with us then struggling at other clubs, for me you can only really judge a QPR manager on what he did at QPR rather than what he does elsewhere, we're a barmy unique club, some managers who struggle here do very well at other clubs and the opposite of that is also true.

I like both of them and think they have both done good jobs at QPR, Stephan has the opportunity to go on and achieve a lot more league position wise and I really hope he does.

He quite possibly is but it was only a week ago he was getting slaughtered on here for picking the wrong team at Norwich. Overall he's doing a good job this season

I like him, and I liked the previous manager as well. I think we have a much better squad this season than we did last year and the key has been having some good forwards which we haven't had for years

It would mean they couldn't hire someone in the same role going forward but in football you can probably get around that with a new job title

It's a new deal so they might not do that anymore but would be surprised if this game isn't moved for tv.

QPR give West Brom both Burrells – Report
at 18:41 7 Dec 2025

A little bit on Burrell's 5 goals in 5 home games.

Burrell's five goals in five consecutive home games is the first time a QPR player has achieved that since Tjaronn Chery in 2016 scoring at home to Fulham, Birmingham City, Derby County, Brentford and Middlesbrough. Before Chery the last players to score in 5 home games in a row was Charlie Austin (2014), Gary Bannister (1986 & 1984), John Gregory (1983) and Rodney Marsh (1966).

To put this in perspective the likes of Les Ferdinand, Stan Bowles, Kevin Gallen, Clive Allen and Adel Taarabt never scored in more than 4 consecutive home matches.

If Burrell scores against Birmingham he will be the first player to score in six home games in a row since Conway Smith achieved this in 1954.

Brian Bedford and Tommy Cheetham hold the club record for this, scoring in 9 home games in a row.
