Blue Lights on BBC has been excellent since the very start. Judging by the ending there won't be any more. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see a spin-off or 2. |

Oluwabasulo scored plenty last season. Got our 2 tonight. Can't understand the thinking of playing such a young side. |

Came from Watford as they downgraded their Academy. |

We seemed to operate a 5-4-1 which meant moving Edwards back. Neither Smyth nor Poku got in the game until we were 2-0 down. Kamara lost the ball more often than he had in all the previous games combined. And Vale was anonymous. So, without doing anything special, Brum ran the midfield. That was where the game was lost, IMHO. Add in Kone and Kolli getting in each others way for the 1st and Dunne being moved up front leaving us short handed for the 3rd. Bad day at the office. Gather ourselves, learn lessons and go again. |

I don't think he had many options. You could argue that Madsen being unused was odd. As was the omission of Lloyd. But who knows the thinking behind that. Defensively, the only serious option was Morrison. Up front, both Obikwu and Kone were on the bench. Are either fit enough to start? Highly doubtful. P.S. Today (Tue 20) we get the news from WLS that Madsen is joining Burrell and Lamptey on the injured list. None returning before Nov international break. [Post edited 21 Oct 9:49]

Kamara got knocked off the ball more today than for all previous games combined. Re the last bit. My 1st viewing it could have been a red. On 2nd views, he kept his leg down. It was a thickish yellow, but ref got it right. Brum fans were incensed that Dunne had the temerity to get hurt. |

He has to play too his strengths and that is a) using his physique to ensure their CBs can never be comfortable b) finishing. IMO, he doesn't have the pace or the control to get to a higher level but he can be very effective as a Championship striker. |

Never underestimate what his pace brings to the team. He must be a nightmare to defend against once he gets into his stride. And he does the defensive side as well. As well as Kemper played, Smyth was my MOM last night. |

Not time wasting but 2 really bad injuries. Langas in 1st half must have taken most of the 9. Loads of subs 2nd half + the Mad Ben injury. If your biggest gripe is added time, I'd take a look at the scoreline and the Championship table. |

Far too many clubs, including QPR, are living way beyond their means. The parachute payments to relegated clubs are excessive and distort the Championship. |

We've drawn the last 4, Derby their last 2. Surely that sequence cannot be extended? They've got nearly as many injuries as we have. In defense and without Agyemang (not that one, Dave!). But we've only scored 4 at home so far this season. Narrow win, 1-0 or 2-1 |
