In my youth I read the whole of Lord Of The Rings in 2 weeks. On the tube and break times at work.

Compared to the home game, that was positively exhilarating.
I thought we were more likely to win than lose it, but not to be. Bank another point and move on.

5% cash + 3% in goods is a decent return. You may get better but not in many places, nor without higher risks.

I think we get it Burnley. You don't rate Kone which is your opinion.
Remember how far he's come already and it's quite remarkable that he's capable of 6 goals this season. He's still only 23, so, potentially, there's still development to come.
Wouldn't it be good to see him bang in a couple tonight and we'll all be happy.

Is the season over?

We're only 4 points off a play off place. There's 19 games to go and, if we approach those games with a competitive attitude, why not dream of top 6.
Sure, for now, injuries are an issue. Other clubs could have the same issue in the next 4 months.
For me, a top 10 finish is very achievable. Frankly, I don't think we are a top 6 side, but it's so close, why not?

January transfer rumours
at 22:05 19 Jan 2026

Defensive options, even without Morrison , are Dunne, Cook, Edwards, Mbengue, and Smith for the CB roles. Akindeleni has just gone on loan to Morecambe. Wilkie is an outside bet and Field could play CB. And, 1 day, JCS might be fit. Although the latter is just a malicious rumour.

If you move Mbengue to CB, you can play Morgan or Adamson at RB.

Morrison deserves his chance to compete for a world cup squad place.

The locals can often spot we're not French before we say anything.

Not Dave, as if you didn't know.
He's an American, 6'4" signed Summer 25, and has 7 goals already.

I watched the EFL Highlights programme this morning. Shocked our game wasn't last. But I blinked and missed our game, altogether. For which.im grateful as I couldn't sit through any of it twice.

He may be a PL ref but he seems to be guessing too many decisions.

Not sure this will end 11 vs 11.

Poor game. We have ahad v little possession and give the ball away too cheaply. Kolli and Dembele the worst culprits. Weve defended well, keeping in good shape. Created virtually nothing.

I thought before KO there wouldnt be many goals. If 2nd half . Is similar, there wont be any..

For those who don't know
Tylon Smith South African CB
Isak Alemayehu - Swedish midfielder signed last Summer

DS players getting a chance. OR being thrown in the deep end

Surprised that both Mbengue and Dembele are fit.

Walsh; Adamson (if Mbengue out), Dunne, Cook,RND; Madsen Hayden, Smyth, Dembele (Sutton if KD out); Kone, Kolli

Bench will show who's left. Hamer, Edwards, Field, Morgan and the DS.

A cold, wet Saturday afternoon in Stoke – Preview

I was there for Helguson's thumping header in the 3-2 win. Right behind the goal, like Clive. I was also there when Bircham got Gerry Taggart sent off and Gallen ran a masterclass in how to beat 10 men.

PJ Harvey - all if the album Let England Shake.

The Pogues - Waltzing Matilda
Springsteen - Born in the USA. Totally inappropriate for the MAGA crowd, even if they did try to use it at a Trump rally.
