Tbh this isnt a coincidence all these players pulling up with the same injury.

Mr Nourry. Get rid of your useless performance team. Must something to do with the conditioning of the players. Too many are pulling up with similar issues now for it all to be just bad luck.

Will Chair be back to his injury free best?

I guess it could be looked from that angle.

But as I and probably all of us notice in football, if you perform at the level of rank incompetence, for even a few weeks consecutive, the P45 flies your way with supersonic charge.

Three losses in a week and no wins in five and managers are preparing their au revoirs. Three poor attempts at saves in one game that all lead to dreadfully bad goals against, and you are dropped from the team.

So, if miscommunications are not done with the backdrop of malice and rank incompetence prevails - surely not at QPR - what are the reasons for the performance team members remaining in situ.

The cheque is in the post !!!!

Oh and sorry, answer to the thread title.

SADLY UNLIKELY...

Do we not all want the same thing?
at 23:50 23 Feb 2026

My old Nan, long since gone Colin, used to say ;

"There is nothing as queer as folk."

The definition of the critical word then meant strange and not the connotations it has today. Basically just saying everyone of us is strange and none of us are the same. Nan used to say thank God, everyone is different, ie it would be an incredibly tedious world if everyone was the same. Crikey if everyone was the same as me, I think I would quickly head for the emergency exits as dull is not a world I want to frequent for too long.

Yes Myke, it would be great, if some would not resort to name calling when people just disagree with their opinion. Words can damage sometimes, as being an online forum, where most dont know many on here personally, we dont know always the circumstances that people maybe currently facing and some unexpected abuse on here, can have more of an impact than the perpetrator may realise.

I agree with you, but I doubt it will change. But it should do really.

Wot! No Randy Andy Pandy thread yet
at 23:29 23 Feb 2026

One of my work colleagues worked for the royal family at Windsor and the only member of the firm she did not like was Andrew. Said he was a detestable human being and she rarely has a nasty word for anyone. Everyone else she had a great deal of respect for, even Harry also. Kate and William, she practically was gushing with praise for them two and Charles she had a lot of time for too.

She was happy to see Andrew, basically where he belongs and should be.

Can't see America going after anyone though. Hope so, but justice in that country is unlikely. Leaders of the free world, as i understand it to be !!!

The most mutable moments are the "Aguer ooo" goal and the after party minutes from Martin Tyler and Niall Quinn as I hate seeing it now, even though we had some great moments that day.

Andy Hinchcliffe, for some unknown reason hates us with a passion.

Whoever we play, if he is the co commentator, he ridicules ourselves and bigs up our opposition and their players big time.

Its not blatantly obvious, but its the snide digs that cut deep and often. And if we are playing well, maybe the opposition have lost all their best performers or its a Friday, there always is a reason not to congratulate ourselves.....

It was better when they said nothing. Prior to this recent game, it was said he was match fit. Now he isn't. Don't believe this cr*p

Outright lying does not count as communication.

Most things , the club is doing well, but these communications re players are a DISGRACE. The club have some kudos recently, so lying about such things - why - there really is no need.

But if there is, tell us why....

Broken Chair?
at 15:19 23 Feb 2026

Some of our players seem to get a lot of setbacks.

And they are never properly explained.

Chair as at one stage due back in December. So now that's well into March, at best.
The striker signed to cover injuries, picked up an injury the day after signing and there is no given date for his return. Not really his return though, is it; he has never ever played for us in the first place.

Setbacks with recoveries or in training, I for one, would prefer a much more open and genuine dialogue from the club. Otherwise, have to say, you really need to look at who you are employing in terms of your performance recoveries teams. Most of us can understand the odd big word and if we dont understand we can Google.

Really feel the club MUST improve on this both in terms of general recoveries for players and no smokescreens regarding returns. We prefer to know the truth of situations but if you have to be economical with truth, at least have the decency to say why this is done.

Ie its better to have no information, than info that's an outright lie or fabrication !!!!

What can we learn from Millwall?
at 15:06 23 Feb 2026

They have not been promoted as yet, and have not managed to stay in the Premier League for a few years yet, either. More's the question what can we learn from Palace, Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton would be more of a relevant question.

Millwall at a similar stage to ourselves and a few results going the right way for ourselves, where we have been turned over at the end, we are at pretty much an identical stage of evolution as the club of Millwall.

Also, they lost three one at home at the weekend. They obviously have tried to emulate ourselves as well, then....

This season Vs last - progression
at 00:45 23 Feb 2026

Squad depth is the difference.

Younger players, are a year older. Some canny signings, that have hit the ground running and most positions having decent options, if injuries hit, which they most certainly have.

Guessing also, a couple of decent sales of players at their peak as regards transfers and also, the net impact of the help of the Eze funds available has given ourselves.

I think he will be sub for a few games before he gets a start and even then likely to be replaced by 60 to 70 minutes.

Clearly, the last couple of seasons, there are injury concerns that have had minimal public knowledge.

Wasn't he supposedly due back at Christmas. Hope the announcement he is match fit, means he is selected this week in some capacity, as you never know with our communications, the way it is.

Fortunately, we have much more strength in depth in Chair's position in the last season or so.

He has been the main man for many years or for a couple of seasons with Willock, when he was firing, but Chair's form dipping inevitably due to his lack of availability, means he may not get selected as a starter, sometimes due to the form of others.

I have a feeling his better days may be behind him, hope not though obviously, and this may very well be because of his recent injury woes and the necessity for himself to nurse himself back into the fold.

Let's hope he can get back to his very best and the injury concerns do not reoccur.

Good luck Ilias....

Eze Loves Spurs
at 21:00 22 Feb 2026

Talk about rubbing Spurs' noses in the doo doo !!!

Not great times to be a Tottenham fan.

When Spurs were looking likely to sign Eze earlier this season, I remember saying to this rather large passive aggressive Spurs fan at the time,

"Why would he go from Palace to Spurs. It was a step down."

This hard headed alphamale bloke screwed his face up and said,

"Step down. That's a big call."

It was at this time, that Numpty retreated to the gentleman's conveniences....

You have got to do all the team trials on "I'm a celebrity. Get me out of here."

Your trials are to done with John Terry, Katie Price, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Joey Barton.

Your role is to encourage team spirit between you all and eat all the kangaroos' private parts in extra quick time !!!

Or would you prefer to watch Brown's boys sober.....

Nick London.

"Patrick Bamford, you're a diving cheat - Patrick Bamford, you're a diving cheat."

QPR hierarchy !!!!

Whole scenario and the ultimate removal from post, was all quite bizarre.

If only , commentators said what they really thought, as opposed to facing libellous charges, if they did so.

Wasn't mutable for me, but that was what indeed happened to Nick.
