Edward’s weakness is in the air, buy him and we’ll also need to splash out on a new keeper in Jan. |
 | Forum Reply | Fearsomely in-form Boro too hot for QPR to handle – Report at 08:45 15 Dec 2025
Happy our negative goal count wasn’t hugely increased more than anything. See we are joint 10th for goals scored, 21st for goals conceded. Perhaps over achieving at present. We were warned, probably by Clive, that JS is known for being a bit gung-ho and nothing so far suggests that will change. Still, we look to be safe so fascinated for the second half of the season, let’s see how this goes. |

Looks to be lacking a right back, Warren Neill possibly? Fascinating thread, having only been there once I thought it simply involved a three hour flight from Gatwick and a decent pint on arrival. How times have changed. |

31 points and if we could get to 35 points half way, after 23 games, we’re very nicely positioned to have a go at top 6, if we really fancy it. Lose the next two and we’re set up for 12th to 16th as per. As you say, slowly improving. JS is doing better than I expected after the first three games, these players do try to buy in to a manager in the last few years. Now hes seen the first round of games in England for the first time, I’m hoping he’ll start managing the line up for the second round of games with a view to nullifying some of the better teams we’ve played, particularly those sides that have brushed aside the ‘anthill mob’ ( I do like that) with relative ease. |

Fair enough Baz. Given the nature of the thread, and I’m not blaming Mr Sheen here as it’s an interesting story and presented without any agenda, it would have been handier if you’d spelt that out in the first place. Anyway, given your reply, my apologies. |

Given the connotations of the Palace situation in this thread, perhaps you could explain to us honestly whether you are casting aspersions on our own support with this somewhat glib remark above. It’s a bit nasty if you are going to leave this hanging there. Are we talking racism here or is your curmudgeon remark purely a slight on the older supporter. Just give us it straight, we don’t need you lobbing grenades in the fckin room and walking away. |

Mates birthday and he’s so ill with it he’s cancelled our trip on Monday to Plumpton races. We’d bought our Christmas jumpers and everything, bloody annoying. |

That’s literally one side of the design I recommended to the club a couple of summers back. Hopefully it’s still like that for the Leicester game so Clive and the fella behind can report back on it’s effectiveness. This is quite an exciting development. |
 | Forum Reply | What are people’s thoughts on the Club pulling out all the stops in January ? at 08:35 12 Dec 2025
We’ve been hanging around lower mid table for the last ten years in the Championship. Both are manageable but if you asked Palace fans whether they’d rather have been us or them over the last ten years I’d imagine they’d all rather be them. You never know, with promotion the owners might even push the boat out and furnish the SAR with a working sound system, I’ve all but given up on the leg room. |

We’re not going to trouble the automatic spots, but I’d like to see this squad have a crack at the line above seventh place. I think they might be capable of surprising themselves. We’ve got to stop thinking about creating a good enough squad to get us promoted and then survive in the Premier, it’s just not working like that any more. What to do in January, we’ll not a lot if we’re aiming for the play offs. Keep RND, maybe Edwards if he’s less than the £3m they paid for him but if JCS can keep himself fit, not even sure that’s necessary. Personally, I’d like us to cosy up to Chelsea, remind Sterling where it all started and appeal to their better nature that a short term cheap loan would be the best for all concerned until the summer. That would be exciting and the kind of lift that shows QPR do have aspirations. |

Betfair customer services are a disgrace. Their opt in bet, where you get a matching free bet, is regularly reneged on, either with the most bizarre small print in the terms or failing that saying you didn’t opt in when you know you clearly did. It’s a shame as it was a good company when it started out as an Exchange, but since it’s expanded, so to speak, it feels like it’s being run by wrong’uns. Noticed recently it resides in Ireland and set up so it’s become very hard to speak to an actual living person, the chat bot is something designed to exasperate to the point of giving up. |

Continental goalkeepers have been punching rather than catching since time began, think we notice it more as a lot less British keepers at higher level clubs now. I like Nardi, it is heart in your mouth at times, but a very confident shot stopper. |
 | Forum Reply | ELO theres a big blue nose approaching-birmingham match thread at 00:03 10 Dec 2025
Most professional performance from us in a long time. Full backs were both superb, did a job on two very useful widemen. Centre backs in total control, our two up front really give defenders a load to think about. Saito and Smyth were very good, Varane stuck at it throughout and Madsen is something else, moves the ball like nothing we’ve had for many years. Birmingham are a decent outfit and we restricted them to possibly one shot on goal. You can’t beat the buzz you get on a night like that, well done Rangers. |
 | Forum Reply | Loyalty Points at 18:08 9 Dec 2025
If it’s 9000 then the club should at least offer one ticket per ST holder until sold out. I get the loyalty point system, fair enough, but supporters who can’t get around so easily and been turning up for donkeys years should at least get a bite of this. |

Getting dispossessed trying to pass out your own area is always a mistake in my book, there’s a half way line you could have kicked it past any day of the week. |

They slaughtered Bob Hazell last time I was there for a cup match. Karma this time, hopefully. |

What I personally notice with refs is they can be pretty good when we win but bloody useless when we lose. Gavin Ward accepted. |

I can remember a time when we’d send Kakay to AFCON just for some respite. |
