Once again Richard younare the voice of reason and another well written opinion In fairness to Matos he has put his hands up for this one and maybe he underestimated QPR given their recent run of results. Injuries are not helpimg him either, losing Yeo and Ronald are blows and whilst we are hearing calls for Monga what makes folk so certsin he is fully ready given the apparent issues we have had explained to us. The Blackburn game will tell us a lot about Matos.....hopefully he will have us back to winning ways |

Absolutely....now is the time to get behind the team and Matos...though I feel the knives are sharpening for him already Im over 50 years of my supportimg the Swans I have seen us have "blips",even durimg his promotuon years Tosh had a few..... Even when one down yesterday we could have equalised through Idah and Widdell had two scorimg chances had they gone in the came may habe changed. How many of us would have said we would be where we are after 12 games back in August? Lets get out in force next Saturday amd cheer the lads onto a win against Blacbirn |

Im obviously missing something about Walta, I was at the Charlton game and tjough he is good in the ball I didnt see him as being stand out "creative". Yes he scored a worldie free kick but otherwise ? To be surr I habe watched the whole secomd half twicenover as Walta came on at 46 minutes, apart from a long range shot and his free kick therenis kot much evidence of creativity. But then that is just my opinion. |

is that the same Burgess who you were calling to be replaced by Lissah back in August? |

Apparently not? Ross Stewart was left out of the Swansea City squad for Saturday's defeat to West Ham United because of homegrown player rules. Scotland striker Stewart has managed only two substitute appearances since joining Swansea in August, thanks in part to fitness issues. The 30-year-old was denied the chance to add to that tally this weekend because of the need to include a minimum of seven homegrown players in a matchday squad. A homegrown player is one who spent at least three years with an English or Welsh club before turning 21. Stewart spent his formative years playing non-league football in Scotland, hence he was omitted against West Ham and Vitor Matos instead named Welsh teenager Thomas Woodward on the bench. Swansea were short of homegrown players because Filip Lissah was missing through suspension while defenders Josh Key and Cameron Burgess are both on the injured list. "It's a football decision from the situation that we have with the injuries of Cam and Keysey and Fil's suspension," said Matos. "I don't know why, but the Scottish players don't count. Someone can explain that to me. "Because of that, we needed to make a decision with the short term and that's the decision I made." Woodward, fellow youngster Carter Heywood, Lawrence Vigouroux, Ben Cabango, Josh Tymon, Adam Idah and Andy Fisher were the seven homegrown players in Swansea's squad against West Ham. |

we certainly were not outclassed yes Vigs made some great saves, but we created chances but failed to convert, their goal came from our mistake and some dodgy officiating. Lessons to be learnt from yesterday but we were still in the game up until thr fianl whistle tjough how it was only 5 mins extra time given the number of subs made and stoppages second half fprnthe poor West Ham players who were shot by snipers ending up on the floor. |

I wonder if he had not scored thay free kick would folk be saying the same? |

Given the disruption to our defence I d settle for a draw....it will be interesting to see how we line up,Welsh at right back? Or a back 3 of Cabango Welsh and Selt with Ronald and Tymon as wingbacks. |

I think this refers to supporters in the "home" stsnds wearing the oppostions kit....there are some "away" supporters or locals who may support "away" teams and come in their colours |

That was in his first season, where we lost to Brentford in the semis,I think Keith is talking of the following season where we were riding high in the league then we lost Gibbs White |
