Wales Youngsters -SCFC 21:46 - Mar 20 with 2994 views | Al_Bundy | After watching tonight anybody think there was a few of the Wales players we could attract to us next season? Davies (keeper) Evans Hedges and Woodburn possibly and also Matondo on loan even? Probably all better than what we currently have !
Wales Youngsters -SCFC on 21:48 - Mar 20 with 2982 views | jasper_T | Matondo will be in the German second division next season with his new club. Plenty of gametime for him like Matt Smith is getting in the Dutch second. Evans and Hedges are League One level. Woodburn still poor. Miles off our level.

Not one Swansea produced player played tonight. (Hedges signed at 16 and we let him go without ever having a first team run) Welsh football going places without Swans Academy - again. Not good enough is it ? At least the old Centre of Excellence will be represented in the next wales game via Ben, Joey and Connor.

I would hope our academy wouldn't be involved in Welsh football going places like tonight. Team on Sunday should have Ben, Little Joe, Connor and DJ in the 18. Big Joe would be involved if fit, you would imagine, scrambling for centre halves. Brandon Cooper captained the u19s tonight against Holland (Cabango was suspended or would have played). Another 4 players involved in the u21s training camp (Joe Lewis, Keiran Evans, Liam Cullen, Oli Cooper). Aaron Lewis too old for the next qualifying campaign, not sure about Jack Evans, here's hoping his recovery goes well. Plenty of Swans involvement, but we can always aspire to more.

I'm wrong about Aaron Lewis being eligible for the next U21 Euros. The way it worked previously was that you had to be 21 or under the year qualification started, which would be this year for the 2021 Euros. "Only players born on or after 1 January 1998 are eligible to participate." So DJ, Joe Rodon and Cian Harries won't be eligible, but Aaron Lewis and Jack Evans are.
