They have achieved their aims, the Ukranian military is on it's arse. It was never about a land grab, it was about destroying the Ukranian military. It has done this, despite units of the Ukranian military still holding out. NATO, has had a rude awakening too. The Ukraine war has shown that modern warfare has completely changed. £50m tanks are being destroyed by £100 drones. The Ukrainians have taken the US made Abram tanks off the battlefield because they were losing them to drone strikes. Huge naval vessels are destroyed by sea drones. The UK are sending them a laser weapon that can shoot down multimillion pound missiles for the cost of 50p. The Ukranians are taking out the Russian air defences by attacking in a swarm with drones and missiles. The defence systems can't take everything out, so some get through and hit the target. Where does that leave the defence industry? Russia has been put on a war footing to mass produce weapons. The UK has no way of manufacturing anywhere near enough of anything if we had to do the same. We are sitting ducks. We have relied on a relatively small number of these big old style weapons and have given away our manufacturing capabilities. Just as we may desperately need steel works, we pay foreign nations to shut them down

What a load of old cobblers. There have been recent problems with the jamming of HIMARS, but over the last two days ATACMS have been very effective with hits on air defences and a command centre.

HIMARS have been jammed easily, ATACMS, and storm shadow not so easily jammed, but still possible
Just as I said. HIMARS has been partially jammed but is still registering some hits, ATACMS continues to resist jamming and is doing very significant damage in Crimea and the other occupied areas. Your earlier statement that both had been jammed is untrue - as It a lot of what you post.

Himars, the wonder weapon which was going to change everything has been neutralised. ATACMS and storm shadow has proved more difficult to jam, Russia is working on a modified air defence missile to intercept these
