Tbf that Toby Tyke crest on the third kit (If that's what you're referring to) goes back quite a while. Certainly had it when we played them in the Division 2 days. I like it. The home kit is pretty naff, but I imagine will be attracting a decent price on the collectors market in a few years.

It was in reference to the home kit, I actually didn’t notice the Toby Tyke crest. I agree, the home is kit naff and that’s putting it politely! Definitely one for the collectors. The reason I mentioned the Leeds badge was because they made a song and dance about it a bit like Barnsley have with this collaboration. I’m obviously not down with the kids as I’ve never heard of ‘Kid Super’. At least the Juve x Palace collaboration produced some nice gear. Maybe I just prefer Adidas? Funny you should mention it, a friend of mine from Barnsley (not a massive football fan) was talking about it the other day. It was in relation to the mining heritage, I mentioned the current club crest which he wasn’t aware of, he still thought it was Toby Tyke, haha. [Post edited 30 Jun 2023 13:21]

Barnsley FC new home kit on 13:58 - Jun 30 with 1743 views | FDC | The essence of Barnsley FC's spirit is encapsulated in the club's ethos of "Winning is Being Barnsley." It represents the core values of authenticity, determination, and resilience that define the club. Being true to who we are at all times, with muck, nettles, grit, and backbone, is at the heart of our identity. Understanding ourselves and bringing that essence to the world is what it means to be Barnsley.
