A goal against the run of play wouldn't have saved that defence or system today.

I'm not even gonna try convincing anyone!! It is a worry that there was so little effort put in throughout the game, that needs to be stamped out straight away or we will be in trouble.

if only we had brought zamora on earlier. that would have been a real statement of intent!.

good job they hit the underside of the bar as well , that phillips miss proved to be more costly than jfk taking the convertible out for a spin in november 1963.

eyes wide shut.

If Phillips had scored it would have lifted our morale. Fast fwd 5 mins, they score a second and our heads drop. That miss did impact on our performance in that sense.
Must say the three new signings Fer, Mutch and Isla were woeful.

eight people think matty boys rugby conversion changed the game.

given that it was patently obvious that spurs were showboating in the second half, with their center backs doing cryuff turns in our area, were we, as kevin spacey said to the forlorn detectives in 'seven' "biding our time" ??

incredible.

perhaps i'll suffer alien abduction and a probe about my rectum, this fine bank holiday, then they'll show me the indisputable evidence we were lulling them into a diabolical trap, using technology akin only here for the niko's venns diagrams and flow charts.

we were dog shit from gun to tape.

And I've never seen a game where one side won every single50/50 tackle. Every one!! We bottled it (noble exception being Joey).
