Stage one was to stop the gap widening. Then it was to claw things back. The gap to safety is now down from 10 to 8. Going to be tough but at least it looks like we now have a chance of closing in on the teams just above us.

We've just got to keep chipping away at the points deficit . We can't and won't win 3 on the bounce to get us clear , rather claw back point by point every few weeks . The players and the manager seem to believe it's possible , and I'm of the same mind . Don't get me wrong , we're clearly favourites to be relegated and quite rightly so , but surely it's far too early to be throwing the towel in .
