Bring back Kevin Pietersen 23:19 - May 12 with 861 viewsOsbourne

Osbourne here,

Andrew Strauss! - The Director of Cricket!
Colin Graves! - The England and Wales Cricket Board Chairman!
Tom Harrison! - The ECB Chief Executive!

Otherwise known as the 3 Pinocchio's!

Did Australia ever leave Don Bradman out of their XI if he was available for selection?- "Fat Chance." Let's remember the great Bradman, like KP, was not universally popular amongst his contemporaries either.

KP is not universally popular either, let him play against the Australians this summer though. It would be seriously "box office."

Osbourne says, let KP play.
Does Osbourne have any supporters on AVFTT on this matter? Osbourne wonders?

Osbourne here,

Thanks for that "oneswallow."

Funny!

Has Osbourne also had a post eliminated on this thread by a moderator?

Osbourne is all ears to know why? Osbourne cannot recall going OTT. Osbourne just keen to give those Aussies a run for their money this summer in the home ashes series.

Osbourne here,

I know this is mainly a football posting board, but.......

Osbourne loves the Kevin Pietersen saga.

Others on AVFTT must have a view point.

Basil?

Andrew Strauss - "Pinocchio?"

KP has just scored 300+ for Surrey in the County Championship!

KP v Mitch Johnson, David Warner and Michele Clarke is what the UK cricket paying public want in the home Ashes series of 2015 - surely?

Great topic - why the silence on AVFTT?

KP for England says Osbourne.

Think the ECB must use the same PR firm as Karl, can't believe how badly they handled Peter Moores sacking and the Kevin Pietersen saga.

If England do well against New Zealand, and the Aussies it's not a problem, however if we're 0-2 going into the 3rd test against the Aussies and the middle order is not getting run's, then all hell will break loose.

For that reason I would of told KP that at this moment the middle order is getting runs so there's no place for him, however if they fail he would be considered for selection. Problem solved.

‘Where there is harmony, may we bring discord. Where there is truth, may we bring error. Where there is faith, may we bring doubt. And where there is hope, may we bring despair’

Osbourne

my view is that there is a clear role for KP in the England set up.

Someone has to carry Ian Bell's drinks.

Icon? It's all Rio Ferdinand's fault.

"Bring Back The Red Room"
Good piece that. Absolutely spot on. Strauss should of kept KP playing for Surrey for a while and then put him back in the fold - chance missed.

"Basil"
Funny, but for a man of your insight and intellect, short sighted!

Ian Bell is a good batsman. Just how good, could be revealed during the summer Ashes series.
Kevin Pietersen though? "As the Australians' see Pietersen walking to the wicket, they realise one thing and one thing only. They better get him out quick, otherwise there will be absolute mayhem out there."

That's the difference. That is why KP MUST play in all 5 of the home Ashes series 2015. Trott is already gone. KP is available and waiting Mr Strauss, who is currently donning the "Pinocchio" nose!

We will see Basil, we will see!

Osbourne here,

I wonder if Ian Bell will last the 5 Tests v Australia this summer?

Who, basilrobbiereborn, do you think Mitch Johnson wants to have a bowl at :

Ian Bell or Kevin Pietersen?

Osbourne wonders?

Johnson will not be the factor here that he is at home.

The rest of your post is academic, I'm afraid.

Think I might have to bookmark that Mitchell Johnson comment Robbie.
Might come back to haunt you.
You have a tendency to say things that stick in my head .
My favourite being a comment on Ian Holloway once that was one of the nicest things you ever said about him..".He's a c**t but our c**t"
