Yep I've just watched the interview, seems really keen to play for QPR, see's us a step up, I am now really looking forward to seeing Luongo this season as I at first had problems with is attitude but as others have said, could be the new Taarabt.

Looking forward to the new QPR side that will be built under Ramsey and Les, hopefully we will have 11 Jamie Mackies next season and the players will wear their heart on their sleeve. I really think this is the first time we will get a QPR side to love and remember since the famous 2010/11 season under Warnock.

I don't know whats happening with Gladwin but I am sure an announcement on him is imminent, really looking forward to him too, great long-term signings for the club, made his way up from non-league.

Keep up the good early work being shown Ramsey!

Looks to be an excellent signing, what's not to like?

Massimo Luongo
Drinks Tooheys not Umbongo
He's from Oz and not the Congo.

A magnificent football club, the love of our lives, finding a way to finally have its day in the sun.

Think back to the signings of Park, Bosingwa, Barton, Wright-Philips etc... it was such a summer of optimism. What we should have done is sign players like these two, but nobody would have been happy with that then.

To the tune of Black Lace's "Do The Conga"

Do do do, Massimo Luongo

I'll get me coat....

If we can just confirm Gladwin now I'd be happy indeed.

Never knowingly understood

He's probably doing the interview and pictures bit now?? One at a time and all that

Can anyone confirm what position he actually plays and give me a player he's similar too?

Is he a centre midfielder, a wide midfielder, a number 10, attacking or box to box, quick, skilful etc?

We'll probably play him full back!

I watched him all through the Asia cup. He's a box to box midfielder with a great engine. Although predominantly attacking. He's excellent at sitting in gaps between the oppositions defence and midfield. He will need henry in the team if he's played correctly. Excellent signing.

Cool thanks.

It's been a while since we've had a midfielder with a great engine (ignoring Diakite, which let's face it we all do).

Is he as versatile as an egg though?

Let's hope he's better than Ned Zelic or Nick Ward for that matter!

He won't have to do much to make a bigger impression than his countrymen, Gorgeous George Kulscar, Nick Ward, Richard Johnson, Ruben Zadkovich, Andrew McDermott and the original gutless mercenary, Ned Zelic.

As for a song, Donna e mobile lends itself nicely to Massimo Luongo. It's certainly better than "I'm feeling Gladwin all over".
