Cheated on 17:03 - Sep 10 with 1910 views | stmichael | Following on from Shaw tripping himself up at Man U for a penalty. I am seething at this gutless coonts. Makes you wonder if the game is bent. He couldn't wait to give it. Fonte for all his experience made it possible for him. That's 2 unnecessary pens he has given on a plate to this pathetic officials..

Cheated on 17:03 - Sep 10 with 1906 views | exitclub | One summer of clear outs too many, trouble looms, our formation is wrong, we have nothing going forward, we are defending too deep and bizarre team selections. Puel is what Remy was to Villa

Cheated on 17:16 - Sep 10 with 1765 views | kingslandstand1 | Fookin 2nd from bottom!! May just regret dropping those 4 home points? Didn't expect anything from OT or the Emirates but listening to 5 Live we should at least have got a point. And why was Fraser trying to get himself booked? From the sound of it with the new respect to the ref etc we may suffer a bit come Xmas with suspensions? Bed wetting over. Now for the Paralympics!
Cheated on 17:20 - Sep 10 with 1740 views | NYC_Saint | Giroud didn't even appeal as he had as much of Fonte as Fonte had of him. Plus with a player down in front of Forster (with a head injury - I thought they had to stop play regardless for that) ref should have stopped game as its interfering... I thought we played well in parts and Long should have scored at least one of his two chances.

Cheated on 17:59 - Sep 10 with 1601 views | TimSaint | Yes Long should have taken his chance, just like the one at Old Trafford. He really needs a goal for confidence, if nothing else - so he can start finding his 2nd hald of last season form again. ...and yes, as Del pointed out, Long had his foot trodden on in the corner, leading up to to the penalty and was a clear foul - but we had lots of decisions like that go against us all afternoon. ...and yes, there was a player down with a head injury - impeding FF ...and yes Giroud and Fonte was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other - with no appeal from either. It was never a penalty - but hey, that is 3 given against us in 4 games. All 3 were dodgy, so if these decisions even themselves out, we are due a few dodgy ones ourselves pretty soon !!!

Cheated on 18:12 - Sep 10 with 1565 views | dirk_doone | They don't even themselves out. If in doubt, refs always err on the side of the big club. They know they won't get much flak if they give a dodgy decision against us. The only time refs face high profile criticism is when they give a decision against a big club, like Arsenal or Man Utd, which they sometimes do when they play against each other. There is no way he would have awarded that penalty if it had been for us. [Post edited 10 Sep 2016 18:14]

Cheated on 18:32 - Sep 10 with 1497 views | Leslie | If we'd got thumped 3-0 he would've had a point. The fact we should've at least got a point proves his post was wrong. Adios

Cheated on 18:53 - Sep 10 with 1433 views | TimSaint | I don't for one second, think that penalties even themselves out over the season, but it is a very commonly used cliche. Trouble is, we always seem to be on the receiving end FFS

Cheated on 19:25 - Sep 10 with 1373 views | lockseaf77 | To go back to an earlier post, formation all wrong, defending far to deep. Third time unlucky. This one doesn't know what he's doing. Sorry
Cheated on 19:50 - Sep 10 with 1326 views | dirk_doone | I think it appears we are defending deep because there is no Wanyama to stop attacks well before they reach our penalty area. Romeu was outstanding today but he really needs Wanyama alongside him when we play away against the top clubs, the same as Schneiderlin did. Clasie isn't up to it. In spite of that, I thought it was a good effort from our team and we were robbed of a deserved draw by the ref. I'm prepared to give Puel more time. I think if he'd had Mane, Pelle and Wanyama at his disposal, like Koeman did, he'd have managed a good win today. Winning games is difficult without a decent striker. [Post edited 10 Sep 2016 20:07]
