I personally am gutted. Flicker was doing a great job at the biggest club in the universe. Mr Day must have changed his five year plan. My money is on Fergie, Wenger or even Busby as their next manager
No. Hill is a proven manager on a limited budget, exactly the manager we need at Dale.
Flitcroft is an impact manager who gets success from collecting players and hoping things work. If there was some of consistent plan behind what he does, the results wouldn't matter as much. Saying that, he's not totally to blame. Though it was his choice to work for Day.
We have a very tough couple of months coming up with long term injuries and even if we didn't get a point between now and Xmas, i think the majority would understand the situation and not throw toys out of prams.
Flicker might need the LMA to sort out his severence, HMRC always come first
Day gave flitcroft everything he asked for in the three year he was manager to help him make a success of it. How many other managers in leagues one or two have been backed as much as flitcroft. That is part of the problem. We lost a player to injury so he signed another and so on. Ive never known a chairman and manager in my lifetime who have frittered away so much money and possibly the future of a very old football club. There were meant to be things put into place to stop what is happening. But there are obviously ways around this. He's made some shocking signings. Day can be blamed for a lot of things but flitcroft should shoulder a large amount himself.

Hill has got plenty in the bank at Dale, he's achievement's developing players and what he's done over a long period of time far outweighs anything Flicker has done at bury. Even relegation wouldn't affect my stance.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
I just go for the football and a laugh with my mates. Not sure if you get a ride included at spotland but you do need to go the extra mile to get the crowds in.
