Regardless of the result today at relegation doomed Rotherham (who have not won in 14, always a good time to play QPR), I think I'm watching Holloway on the very edge.
I watched perhaps half a dozen of Holloway interviews over the last month or so. What I see and hear is an endless rambling about 'passion', 'dying for the club' and 'transforming the culture'.
The England FA rant about 'who are ya, I mean who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, - I mean c'mon on. What on earth was all that about?
Nothing personal against Holloway. He did great last time for us, and remains popular. I just find him far far too desperate, almost incoherent in his enthusiasm.
I reckon we'll lose or perhaps draw today at Rotherham. Then what? His appointment almost smacks of 'we've tried everything else, and that hasn't worked, let's go back to an old friend who knows the club and try him...'.
Just feel increasingly uneasy that this latest experiment may end in tears.

It's incoherent if you've already made your mind up that he's incoherent and incompetent. Then you can only hear the bits that fit that mindset.
Facts are irrelevant these days, changing your position is a sign of weakness.
I have the best opinions, other opinions are for the losers and haters. If people are getting angry and infuriated with me, that must mean I'm winnning.

So when it okay to start questioning Ollies abilities. Why is every criticism being met with accusations of being a troll or not supporting the club. I really do not understand this cult of worshiping on the altar of Holloway where criticism is not allowed.

He built a promotion winning team from absolutely nothing at QPR... He took Blackpool to the Prem (yes that's right Blackpool). They were within 1 point of staying in the Prem (yes that's right Blackpool with a maximum wage of 10K a week). He won promotion at Palace. I know he's had downs as well as ups but to question his ability is misguided IMHO.

We had the biggest budget in the division when he got us promoted second behind Plymouth. Blackpool he did a fantastic job, Palace were top after his second game and only just made the playoffs after a run of no wins in 10.
I don't feel that he is the right man for the job and there's a real danger of us going down. Alternatives I don't know, we decided to twist when we sacked JFH and now we are bust. I accept when cannot keep changing managers but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Criticism of results is fine, I'm hardly overjoyed myself, but to say as some on here and on other forums that he's just a walking sound bite who isn't a manager & is "incoherent" is ridiculous - as is calling for ANY manager, let alone ours to go after 4 games!

That's the whole point of my argument. Instead of thought out rational points to support your opinion, make personal put downs and finish with the old standby of support someone else.

It hasn't gone well at all bar the Norwich game but we never get a manager bounce or haven't for the last 3/4 appointments maybe we should be thinking why that is ?
