They signed Oliver Burke from Forest, so they clearly scout the division.

I can’t see it happening. All these 'links' make you wonder is his agent pushing for a move.

Of course he is, but, as pointed out with the Burke example, it isn't implausible they would be aware of Hogan.

RB are one of the few Bundesliga teams to have active scouts in England, so its not implausible that they'll notice him. He would though, struggle to get into the RB side at the moment.

Reiterating the scouting network of RB and the BL. I wouldnt think they'll be benching Timo Werner anytime soon.

It's rumoured around the banks of the Trent that the Oliver Burke deal has no sell-on clause. This could be because the Forest chairman doesn't know what he's doing or it might have been a stipulation from the Germans. If it's the latter and the same is true of a Hogan deal, it might have implications for us in the far future.

Leipzig paid a huge fee for Burke, though. I think it made him the most expensive Scottish footballer or some such. The previous record fee was two bob and a doughnut.

Leipzig tried to undercut the previous record with their first attempt, though, by offering a zero-calorie equivalent?

I'd be very shocked if they didn't try and get Omar Bogle to replace Hogan.

I think if a club pay £15million for a player - asking for a sell on fee is a bit cheeky!

How crazy is it that Everton are prepared to pay out £ 11 million for Ademola Lookman, a teenage left winger and First Division player with only 45 appearances and 19 goals for Charlton? Yet Hammers and others seem reluctant to part with £ 10 million + for Hogan. Brentford have advised Newcastle the asking price is £ 15 million.
