I honestly don't think the players know what they're doing. They look lost - and some are playing in strange positions. Where is the desire, the fight, the unity? We are so disjointed it's untrue. Is there any truth in the dressing room rumours? We were shocking 1st half today - absolutely shocking - so where was the bottle & fight from the off? That has to be down to Ralph and his (lack of?) motivation - surely? We were clueless & allowed a piss poor Everton to play us off the pitch during that first 45 minutes. We were lucky to be just 1-0 down at the break. Bar a purple patch in the 2nd half where we scored, we couldn't even keep that going!
Major questions will be asked of Ralph over the coming days and it's no use Gao & Co saying they are going to back him because "There is no one else". Something stinks at this football club right now - from the top down. | |

Obviously we can't compete with the top clubs with wealthy, ambitious owners, like Leicester, but surely we can compete with Bournemouth? Just a little bit of investment (a net spend of £20-30m per year) and somebody with some common sense in charge of recruitment should be able to make a club of our size competitive in the top flight. We will end up like Blackpool though with owner. The owner wouldn't invest and so the team would stagnate. Go down and we have had it. Gao won't just sell up at a loss. He will stay to the bitter end like the Blackpool owner. | |
