Connors biggest problem is his crossing. Maybe he needs reminding by our "coaches" that you need to lean back to help you raise the ball. All in all, I'm glad we have him, and think he's a plus.

Where’s Rodon been a big time Charlie?

What he meant Darran, is at times he's got a big Charlie.

No idea - I didn't mention Rodon.
Seems like a tidy bloke to me.

Connor has no pace,he goes on the overlap but has pace then gets caught out position.
Can't fault for him effort but like rodon and mcbernie.

I agree with his out of position problem.
Needs a mix of good coaching and experiance to improve that aspect.

And yes his crossing needs to be much better.

He is quick though.
No sure i agree on that one.

Quick?
He'll run all day,but no change of pace.
That's where he gets caught out against a pacey wnger
That is also the reason he can't go passed players,he is one paced.

He won't be starting at the Euro's, Liverpool's Nico Williams looks a few levels above Conor.

In what way?

He’s not quick, can’t cross and can’t defend, wonderful combination. Always finds himself in acres of space though, then wonders why his teammates, especially Andre Ayew, won’t pass to him. If he doesn’t wise up quick sharp his ‘potential’ will turn in to ‘what could have been’.

I think it's a bit unfair on Roberts as Cooper's system of playing Connor at right back and Andre as right wing isn't helping. Andre is not a natural right winger and keeps drifting into the centre, which means Connor is often playing right back and right wing simultaneously. The lad is knackered.

Not sure about Neco Williams being first choice, but i think he will definitely be in the squad. I think Giggs with his mentality will take youngsters along with a view to the world cup . Gone are the days where we are just happy to be there. In relation to Roberts ,if he knuckles down he will be first choice but always seems to be a second away from a booking. A bit dodgy in a tournament situation.
As regards him being together with Roberts, a big time charlie, where is the evidence. I am afraid locally born players with the Swans are always accused of this. Its just our fans!

Definitely needs dropping . . thinks he's better than he is and also lacks pace although he thinks he's a greyhound . . let's give the new Chelsea lad a chance there.

Thank you.

I hate this rhetoric of sh*tting on our own. Ayew gives Roberts twice the work to do, I also note wing backs don't get forward very often in Coopers system. Strange. Roberts thrived under Potter (as well as most of the team), and dare I say it, he thrives under Giggs too.

Roberts isn't at his best for sure right now, but it's disappointing to see how one of Roberts' strongest attributes is being ignored - his assurance in possession. On Saturday the contrast between Connor's first touch and those of the other starting back three was really evident. One example - a superb cross-field pass to Bidwell, who took a heavy touch leading to an interception. Not unusual for Bidwell, but rarely an issue with Roberts.

In many respects Roberts is a worthy successor to Rangel, and they have many of the same attributes, especially in their assurance in possession and eagerness to play the close-passing triangles. Roberts is being short-changed at the moment, because neither Ayew nor Byers are particularly strong in the close-passing department, and Cooper clearly doesn't put a premium on us developing play in this way.

It's not always the case that when a player isn't at their best that they are to blame.
